It was in an accident with the previous owner, so the driver's side mirror was reattached. From that accident, there is a small blemish in the paint above the driver's side door, but it is not noticeable unless you are looking for it. There are some paint scratches from a white car that side swiped it out of a parking lot on the driver's side of the bumper. That is the only slightly more obvious blemish. Another car backed into the bumper in a parking lot, but again the scratches are minor and only noticeable if you go looking for them. There is a slight tear in the corner of the fabric in the back seat that happened when I was moving. Otherwise, the car is in really beautiful condition."

I am selling my Mitsubishi Galant Sport Edition which I bought used in 2011.  I bought it from a Fairfax, Virginia Toyota dealership. It is in beautiful condition, and I have never had any major issues with it at all! I am only selling it because my husband has 3 cars & we decided it is best for me to drive his Nissan instead. My favorite things about the Mitsubishi are:

1. It is a sexy car. You will feel great driving it.
2. Heated seats (Driver & front passenger) - you will LOVE them especially with fall/winter coming.
3. It is FAST & handles beautifully.
4. Love the sunroof for driving in the summer with all the windows down. It also has the option just to tilt it open.
5. Its black with orange lighting on all the electronics inside. It looks so good :)

So I don't know all the specs about it, but you can see everything you need in the pictures. The original owner got the upgraded rims, 18-inch I believe, and the engine is a 4-cylinder. It has 95,500 miles on it, and I don't allow smokers in my car so there are no unfriendly smells.. If you have any other technical questions, you will need to just come and see it for yourself. This is for local buyers ONLY. I will not ship the car.

Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X Final Edition gets official for Japan only

Thu, Apr 16 2015

It'll be the end of an era when Mitsubishi discontinues the Lancer Evolution, putting to rest a dynasty that challenged the Subauru WRX STI for decades. But before it does, the Diamond-Star automaker is sending off its most celebrated model with the Final Edition you see here. Unfortunately, it's nowhere near as cool as the concept. While the showcar pumped the output from its 2.0-liter turbo four to 473 horsepower thanks to a remapped ECU and a fresh HKS turbocharger, the production version is sticking with the stock 296 hp. It's otherwise based on the GSR model, so it's got a five-speed gearbox, but packs a long list of top-shelf equipment: BBS alloys, Bilstein shocks, Eibach springs, Brembo brakes, Recaro seats... the works. Mitsubishi will only offer 1,000 examples of the Evo X Final Edition in Japan, where buyers will be able to choose between five exterior colors and a contrasting roof in black or white. We don't know at this point whether a similar special will be offered Stateside, but if it is, we hope it'll pack at least some of the concept's power upgrades (we can dream, right?).

Nissan, Renault in talks to merge as one company

Thu, Mar 29 2018

Nissan and Renault have been tied together as an alliance for nearly 20 years, but now the Japanese and French automakers are discussing whether to merge. Bloomberg, citing unidentified sources familiar with the confidential talks, reports that the idea is to form a larger, single publicly traded company to better compete against giants like Toyota and Volkswagen. It would also mark the end of the alliance that first began in 1999 and also includes Mitsubishi, in which Nissan acquired a controlling interest in 2016. A full merger would help the companies pool resources to develop electric vehicles, autonomous vehicles and car-sharing services. It would involve Nissan giving Renault shareholders stock in the new company, with Nissan shareholders also gaining shares in the new company, Bloomberg reports. The new company would be run by Carlos Ghosn, the current chairman of both companies. But any such merger, as you might expect, would be complicated, in part by geopolitics. The French government owns a 15-percent stake in Renault, and both the French and Japanese governments might be reluctant to let go of their respective home-grown brands. Currently, Renault owns a 43-percent stake in Nissan, while Nissan owns 15 percent of its French partner. Reuters reported recently that Ghosn proposed buying most of the French government's stake in Renault as part of plans for a closer tie-up. The Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi alliance already has been working to establish a $200 million mobility tech fund to invest in startups, a reflection of how seismic changes in the auto industry have left many legacy companies scrambling to stay current. Nissan in 2016 paid a reported $2.3 billion to acquire 34 percent of Mitsubishi in order to share platforms, technology, manufacturing and other resources. Mitsubishi profits in North America for first time in seven years

Fri, Apr 24 2015

Well, this is a change of pace. Mitsubishi has actually made some money in North America. It's the company's first operating profit in seven years, and while it might only be $4.18 million – yes, Mitsubishi made less in 2014 than some professional athletes – it's definitely a start. Sales in the US were up 19 percent between January and March, to 32,000 units, while 2014's overall sales jumped 21 percent to 117,000 units, Automotive News reports. Perhaps more impressively, the company is predicting a bountiful 2015, with sales up to 128,000 units and operating profits climbing to $58.5 million. If Mitsubishi is doing this with cars like the ancient Lancer and the awful Mirage, we should probably expect some good things when newer, more competent vehicles like the new Outlander hit dealers.
