2004 white lancer evolution with SSL package which includes sunroof, premium audio with sub in trunk, and leather recaro seats. 1 owner car was purchased off showroom floor when new. this car is in fairly rough shape it has been driven daily for the past 4 yrs or so and runs reliably. the paint has many light scratches around door area. the front bumper has a small hole on one side where an animal hit it. rear of car was involved in a light hit straight on so the rear bumper is bent downwards somewhat..rear bumper will need replaced.where bumper mounts to rear structure is bent slightly could be pushed back into position fairly easily..interior of car shows a lot of wear..seats aren't torn but show creases from use etc..carpet is all intact and in ok condition..mechanically the car is in good running condition starts up and has full power..the engine and drive train were all replaced in 2005 for higher performance below is a list of modifications (the engine build trans etc have about 15k miles on them)..
1. 2.3L stroker motor fully built with forged pistons rods.272 jun cams.motor wasn't rebuilt but started with a brand new block from mitsu which was bored then assembled with new pistons rods etc..
2. new trans fully built 5 spd.custom gear ratios, it has higher 1st -5th so you can shift later
3. dnp manifold with t3 t66 turbonetics turbo..used to have a gt35r that got worn out and was replaced with the larger T66..
4. ams fuel system rated upto 1000hp
5. interior gauges in pillar, boost-egt-oil pressure
6. aem ems stand alone with wideband gauge inside..NOTE: aem will need tuned to run high boost I replaced the turbo few months ago and its safe upto 10psi boost or so not beyond..the aem is tuned decent for crusing and everything else..startup is decent not perfect it takes a min or two of letting it warm up but it will start if its 10deg out or 100 deg out..if you run it on higher then 10-15psi the aem is just tuned very rich..
7 custom switzer coil on plug ignition with aluminum cop bracket.

Mitsubishi refreshes the Triton truck for 2019
Fri, Nov 9 2018In September, Mitsubishi showed a teaser image of the new, redesigned Triton/L200 truck that refreshes the model originally introduced in 2014. Now, the new truck is here, except not here in the sense of being sold in the United States. Alas, we can hope. The new Triton/L200 is a global truck in the sense that it'll be sold in some 150 countries around the world, from Europe to Africa and Oceania, the Middle East and Latin America, but North America isn't part of the plan. Sales start Nov. 17 in Thailand, where the truck is built. Some 180,000 global yearly sales are planned. Looking at the photos released by Mitsubishi, the truck's nose has gained the new corporate styling direction that can also be seen on the Outlander, the Eclipse Cross, and even the re-facelifted Lancer that is sold in some countries. The front design is called "Dynamic Shield" in corporate Mitsubishi language, pointing to the more pronounced grille-intake combo with chrome effect. Otherwise, the basics of the Triton remain as before, with the truck likely to keep the time-honored 4G64 2.4-liter gasoline engine and two inline four diesel options. There are two 4WD systems on offer, either Super Select or Easy Select. Like we said in September, the small truck segment is hotly contested in the U.S. right now, and the Triton, were it sold in the States, would compete against the Tacoma, the Colorado and the Canyon, the Ford Ranger, and a possible Ram truck that would slot underneath the 1500. But the 25 percent Chicken Tax it's subjected to as a foreign-built truck makes it impossible to compete. The currently sold Ranger T6 is originally of Australian design, and as well as being made in Michigan it is also produced in Thailand like the Triton. Related Video:
Mitsubishi Mirage will launch in US with three-cylinder engine [w/video]
Wed, 26 Dec 2012We have a date with Mitsubishi Mirage (again). The Japanese subcompact is slated to arrive on our shores in September 2013, and it's one of the product offerings meant to help Mitsubishi's US arm raise sales in its next financial year from 55,000 to 80,000. If next year were 1989, we'd say there's no reason that couldn't happen, but from what we've seen, the Mirage is so magnificently meek (have you seen the interior?) that we aren't sure how it will manage that kind of US sales aggression in the 21st century.
Continuing that theme, Car and Driver reports that the Mitsu will launch here with a 1.2-liter, three-cylinder engine. Make no mistake, this is a very popular engine in the Mirage and responsible for its excellent fuel economy. The hatch is doing so well in other markets with its two naturally aspirated tri-cylinders that the Thailand facility that builds the Mirage will have its capacity increased by 33 percent to try and meet demand. In European spec, the 845-kilogram (1,859 pounds) subcompact with the more powerful engine offering 79 horsepower and 78 pound-feet of torque gets 57.3 miles per US gallon and takes 11.7 seconds to get from zero to 62 miles per hour. The question is whether Mitsubishi will boost the output of that engine for our market. If not, only the 70-hp Smart ForTwo will have less horsepower - but the Mirage, interestingly enough, weighs about the same as the microcar.
On its UK site, Mitsubishi said the reveal of the Mirage in back 2011 meant "redefining the standards by which to judge a compact passenger car." We can't wait to find out if that's still true and what that means when it gets here. To prepare yourself, there's video of the Mirage in action below.
Junkyard Gem: 1991 Mitsubishi Mighty Max Super Max
Mon, Dec 4 2017While the Montero SUV sold well enough in the United States, Mitsubishi-badged pickup sales didn't quite measure up to those of their Toyota, Nissan, and Mazda rivals. Second-generation Mighty Maxes are hard to find, so this '91 in Colorado was worthy of inclusion in the Junkyard Gem canon. The ADX Florence Supermax federal prison is just 100 miles to the south of this self-service wrecking yard, but it opened several years after this truck was built. The garish lettering and striping has the look of a dealer-installed option package. Chrysler sold rebadged Mitsubishi pickups for decades, as the Plymouth Arrow and Dodge D-50/Ram 50. When Mitsubishi began selling vehicles under their own brand in the United States in 1982, the Triton pickup got the Mighty Max name. The Dodge Ram 50 always outsold its near-identical Mighty Max twin, but the debut of the all-Detroit Dakota in 1987 cut into Ram 50 sales; by 1995, truck shoppers who wanted a Mitsubishi pickup had no choice but the Mighty Max. After 1996, the Mighty Max was mighty gone. This one is quite solid and doesn't appear to have been wrecked, and the odometer shows a surprisingly low mileage figure for a 26-year-old Japanese pickup. The 2.4-liter 4G54 four-cylinder engine is gone, purchased by a junkyard shopper. This engine family went into everything from the Mitsubishi Galant to the Hyundai Sonata, not to mention the Chery V5. The sunroof has an aftermarket look, which fits with the SUPER MAX dealer-option theory. This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Manage Settings. Mitsubishi trucks were pitched as cheap, cheap, cheap in the United States.
