Up for auction is a 1988 Mitsubishi
Pick up that was recently donated to a national charitable foundation and is
being sold with NO RESERVE. The vehicle is equipped with a 4cyl
engine and automatic transmission. The odometer shows 165,189
miles. It’s fairly well equipped with most of the
options. The seats are blue and appear to be in decent condition,
although a good detail will make a huge difference. The exterior of
the car is gray and is showing signs of wear and is faded. It has a
few door dings and scratches. The tires appear to HAVE ROUGHLY 20%

RUNS but does NOT drive. ***The

This vehicle comes with a
clear lien sale packet and its Registration
was valid through 7/14. All taxes, fees, and penalties due
to the DMV, are the responsibility of the buyer.

Mitsubishi Mirage bows in Montreal without a name, Canadian sales promised
Sun, 20 Jan 2013The Detroit Auto Show had plenty of major debuts for North American car buyers, but the Montreal Auto Show is being used for the North American debut of a new subcompact hatchback from Mitsubishi. Although this car is unnamed, it is almost identical to the redesigned Mirage we saw back at the 2011 Tokyo Auto Show (and has been on sale in Asian markets such as Thailand since last year), but it is unclear if the car will carry this name when it goes on sale for our neighbors to the north starting this fall.
Aside from a slightly less annoying shade the of green we saw the car painted in at the Tokyo show, there are a few changes made for the car's Canadian debut. The biggest difference is that it is almost three inches longer, which is likely a result of the new rear fascia that is also visually different with some altered lines and small, circular reflectors. Other changes include a bigger three-cylinder engine (with a 1.2-liter displacement instead of the Tokyo car's 1.0-liter engine) and headlights that have new amber lenses for side reflectors.
There is still no word as to whether or not we'll see this new car in Mitsubishi's US lineup anytime soon, but it does seem like a good competitor against cars like that Mazda2, Chevrolet Spark and Hyundai Accent.
2016 Mitsubishi Outlander priced from $23,845
Wed, Jun 3 2015Mitsubishi is on a slight upswing in the US recently after its first, though small, profit in the country in seven years. The company is now reportedly looking to boost its product lineup, and one of the first big changes in a while comes with the launch of the refreshed, 2016 Outlander. Even with significant upgrades for the three-row crossover, the price is actually $200 lower than last year to start at $23,845 (including $850 destination on all models). The most obvious tweak for the 2016 refresh is the Outlander's attractive, all-new front fascia. The crossover now wears a grille that mixes gloss black and chrome slats, and the whole design is outlined in curving chrome that leads down to accentuate the foglights. At the rear, the upgrades aren't quite as drastic, but the addition of LED taillights lends a more modern look. However, the changes are more than skin deep, and Mitsubishi also claims over 100 engineering and design modifications for the vehicle. The engines carry over from last year, and most models get a 2.4-liter four-cylinder with 166 horsepower and 162 pound-feet of torque. It's hooked up to a revised CVT that Mitsubishi claims offers better acceleration and torque delivery. Buyers can choose between either front- or all-wheel drive. The other option is the top-spec GT trim that comes with a 3.0-liter V6 making 224 hp and 215 lb-ft, a six-speed automatic, and all-wheel drive. FCA compromises with France, moving Renault merger bid forward
Tue, Jun 4 2019FRANKFURT/PARIS – Renault directors were preparing to review Fiat Chrysler's $35 billion merger offer on Tuesday, after the Italian-American carmaker resolved differences with the French government overnight, three sources said. The compromise on French government influence over a combined FCA-Renault may clear the way for Renault's board to approve a framework agreement beginning the long process of a full merger, unless new issues surface at the meeting. France, Renault's biggest shareholder with a 15% stake, had been pressing for its own guaranteed seat on the new board and an effective veto on CEO appointments. But after late-night talks with FCA Chairman John Elkann, the French government has accepted a compromise that would see it occupy one of four board seats allocated to Renault, balanced by four FCA appointees, the sources said. Renault would also cede one of its two seats on a four-member CEO nominations committee to the French state, they said. Renault, FCA and the French government all declined to comment on the discussions. The same evening that the compromise was was negotiated, activist hedge fund CIAM wrote to the board of Renault to say it "strongly opposed" a planned $35 billion merger with Fiat Chrysler. Calling the deal "opportunistic," the fund said the current deal terms strongly favored Fiat Chrysler and offered no control premium.
