I DO HAVE CLEAR TITLE IN HAND.   This car hasn't been registered for quite some time, so the car history check ebay performs shows it as issue found.   On with the details...

This is a one of a kind 3rd gen eclipse.  So much time , parts , money has gone into this over the last 6 years.  I have taken picture of the main receipts to show what the engine and transmission alone have into it.  My LOSS IS YOUR GAIN.   If you have the money and time you could part this car out and make a profit.  I just bought a house and so many things have hit me i didn't expect.   Selling this isn't easy because i haven't seen it through to completion and i hate that.   This has been Turbo Charged the right way which entails the following:
Forged pistons blueprinted and balanced
Forged Pauter Rods blueprinted and balanced
Forged crankshaft polished and balanced
Bored .90 over for 8 1/2 compression for turbo
Solid stainless cometic head gasket
Heads have had a valve job and magnafluxed
High volume oil pump for transmission and engine
External transmission cooler ( better than stock cooling )
External power steering cooler
Evo 9 Map Sensor
Ignition system upgraded with MSD
Custom oil catch can
One way check ball in place of PCV
Largest intercooler i could bolt on
Greddy Blow off valve
Turbonetics Evolution wastegate
T-4 Precision Turbo
All exhaust is 3 inch Mandrel stainless from downpipe to tailpipe
2.5" mandrel stainless up to the turbo from both heads
Boost Pressure Gauge
Wideband air fuel gauge
pyrometer for exhaust Temp coming from engine
Turbo timer ( needs wired up )
Battery relocated to trunk using 2 Gauge wire
Tactrix 2.0 for your tuning needs
Struts are new kyb agx adjustable
All new brakes even tho they show rust
Some rust around strut towers and on back hatch
Custom paint job extends to the bumper which i do have, just didn't take pictures of it. I drove this car with new wheels and tires and struts and brakes for about 2000 miles.  Everything drove really nice and handled amazing.  The original motor went bad and i went and bought the same year motor from LKQ.  Then started my desire to have this turbocharged since the engine was already out.

The last few steps to get this car tuned are very minor.  It needs the gasoline flushed and a 3.5 diamante MAF sensor wired up.  There are plenty of tuners that can use EVOSCAN to flash the ECU.  I have checked with some of the top minds in tuning these vehicles.  I have the correct 256kb Ecu.   I have much more documented in regards to money that has been put into this.  All the clamps for intercooling are stainless t-bolt clamps.  Everything has been wired up using solder weatherproof connectors.  If you know anything about cars and wiring you know these are expensive, yet the right way to do engine wiring.  I didn't spare expense in doing this.   I wanted things done right, yet now am paying the price since i don't have time, or funds to keep a house going and a project.   My house is now my project!  I'm sure i have left some important details out and notes on my work.   I will be happy to answer any questions and send more pictures upon request.    I am losing my butt on this, but i have no choice.  As with anything in life you have to take your losses and move on at times.   I can drop what i'm doing anytime so you can come look at this and see for yourself how awesome it is.  I have tons of extra parts and things i didn't use that i will throw in.   Again this is sold As-Is , it does not run right now, but it can very soon.

Not a dry eye in the house for last Mitsubishi Evo X video

Fri, Oct 2 2015

Say what you will about the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution; we're going to miss this one when it's gone. Japan's rally car for the street is officially being phased out, and production is ending in Japan. But not before one Final Edition, and a final video showing the turbocharged, all-wheel-drive wonder being built. In Japan, the Final Edition is limited to a run of just 1,000 units. It's based on the GSR model with the five-speed manual transmission, but comes with performance goodies like Bilstein shocks, Eibach springs, Recaro seats, Brembo brakes, and more. See it for yourself in the gallery, below. Over the course of 23 years, there have been 10 generations of the Lancer Evolution. And while Evo X might not be our favorite (this author much prefers Evo IX, for what it's worth), it's still sad to see Mitsubishi's iconic, winged sedan head to the grave. A sign of the times, Mitsubishi says the Evo "will be replaced in spirit" by a high-power, hybrid SUV. That's a tall order, and doesn't seem to make a whole lot of sense, but we'll see. For now, say goodbye to the Evo X by watching the final production video, above. And just be thankful Subaru still makes its lovely WRX STI.

US expands probe into ZF-TRW airbag failure-to-deploy to 12.3 million vehicles

Tue, Apr 23 2019

DETROIT — U.S. auto safety regulators have expanded an investigation into malfunctioning airbag controls to include 12.3 million vehicles because the bags may not inflate in a crash. The problem could be responsible for as many as eight deaths. Vehicles made by Toyota, Honda, Kia, Hyundai, Mitsubishi and Fiat Chrysler from the 2010 through 2019 model years are included in the probe, which was revealed Tuesday in documents posted by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. It involves airbag control units made by ZF-TRW that were installed in the vehicles. The control units can fail in a crash, possibly because of unwanted electrical signals produced by the crash itself that can disable an air bag control circuit housed in the passenger compartment, according to NHTSA documents. The electrical signals can damage the control circuit, the documents say. ZF, a German auto parts maker which acquired TRW Automotive in 2015, said in a statement that it's committed to safety and is cooperating with NHTSA and automakers in the investigation. The case is another in a long list of problems with auto industry airbags, including faulty and potentially deadly Takata airbag inflators. At least 24 people have been killed worldwide and more than 200 injured by the inflators, which can explode with too much force and hurl dangerous shrapnel into the passenger cabin. The inflators touched off the largest series of automotive recalls in U.S. history involving with as many as 70 million inflators to be recalled by the end of next year. About 100 million inflators are to be recalled worldwide. On April 19, NHTSA upgraded the ZF-TRW probe from a preliminary evaluation to an engineering analysis, which is a step closer toward seeking recalls. So far, only Hyundai and Kia and Fiat Chrysler have issued recalls in the case. Four deaths that may have been caused by the problem were reported in Hyundai-Kia vehicles and three in Fiat Chrysler automobiles. NHTSA opened an investigation in March of 2017 involving the TRW parts in Hyundais and Kias. The upgrade came after investigators found two recent serious crashes involving 2018 and 2019 Toyota Corollas in which the airbags did not inflate. One person was killed. Jason Levine, executive director of the Center for Auto Safety, a nonprofit consumer group, said the ZF-TRW case shows the auto industry thus far has learned very little from Takata.

Elon Musk: Teslas will already know where we’re going

Tue, Oct 31 2017

In the future, cars will drive us. And probably not surprisingly, they'll often know where to go without us even needing to tell them. That's the theme of a short back-and-forth conversation on Twitter recently between Tesla founder and CEO Elon Musk and a user who tagged him in a comment suggesting that "it would be cool" to be able to tell a car where to go. Responding to user James Harvey, Musk replied, "It won't even need to ask you most of the time." Later, after Harvey asked how the car would know where he wants to go, another user suggested that the car would know what time you go to work. "Yeah, don't exactly need to be Sherlock Holmes," Musk tweeted. It won't even need to ask you most of the time — Elon Musk (@elonmusk) October 21, 2017 Yeah, don't exactly need to be Sherlock Holmes. — Elon Musk (@elonmusk) October 21, 2017 That the ability to know where we're going will be part of our future driving experience shouldn't be surprising. After all, the smartphones we carry around already possess the ability to predict what we want — think Google's cleverness in tailoring search results or providing traffic information just before your commute, Facebook's highly customized News Feed content or even auto-fill technology, which can predict the words you're typing. And plenty of automakers have been touting their own work in developing in-car artificial intelligence systems. Like Audi's Elaine concept, which will be able to learn, think and even empathize with drivers. Or Mitsubishi's e-Evolution concept, which can not only assist your driving, but also assess your skills and teach you how to improve them. Tesla's vehicles, of course, are being outfitted with all the latest autonomous driver-assist technology, with the automaker eager to one day reach full Level 5 self-driving capability. According to Inc., Teslas will be able to listen and respond to directional commands, and they'll even have access to your calendar to comb for information about where you need to go. Tesla has also said it's developing an update to its Autopilot hardware and remains on track to achieve full Level 5 autonomous driving by the end of this year, which strikes a lot of people as wildly unrealistic. At any rate, the promise of cars knowing what time we're sneaking out to get donuts or picking up the kids is interesting, coming from the man who has warned that AI presents "a fundamental risk to the existence of human civilization."Related Video:
