1997 Mitsubishi Eclipse GST with rebuilt motor with 1000 miles on it and 190K on the chassis. The car runs great and is currently my daily driver. The car has the following mods purchase new a time of motor rebuild
-Hallman boost control
-16G turbo
-Aftermarket boost controler
-Aftermarket exhaust
-Greddy e-managed ultimate piggyback
-Aeromotive Fuel Pressure regulator and modifited fuel rail
-Walbro 255 fuel pump
Rebuilt motor has:
-New rings, bearings, head rebuilt, and balance shaft removal. Timing belt, all timing tensioners, oil pump all 1000 miles on them. All gaskets as well.
Also replaced or rebuilt during motor rebuild, power steering pump, steering rack, fuel injectors.
Right now the car is set at 20lbs of boost and tuned at that pressure. It is pretty fast and spins the tires all the way though first gear and a little in second. I build the car for my son but ended up getting a great deal on a newer RSX, I let me son pick and he picked the RSX saying I quote "the eclipse is too fast it scares me" (he takes after his mother :)
Please look over the pictures carefully the car is over all in decent shape but is not perfect there are three smaller dents on on the roof and one in the quarter and trunk see pictures. On a scale of 1 to 10 I would put the paint at about a 6. The inside is over all good other than the tear in the drivers seat, missing glove box and missing AC control knob. Also the car has been lowered, I had planned on putting it back to factory height but never got around to it.
A/C blows cold, it has power moonroof, power locks, power windows, power mirror, cruise control, HID lights (the fancy bright ones), fog lamps, The car runs, dives and works well for the past month or so i have been driving the car daily. and if you drive it normal it gets right around 25 miles per gallon. If you drive like a madman that goes down quite a bit. All the tires are in good shape. around 70% tread left.
I am guessing the HP is right around 300HP, I built the car to run at 20lbs of boost I didn't want to go any higher with planning for my son to drive it. The tune is a little rich but i and could be tweeked a little bit to give it another 25-40HP if you wanted. You could also turn the boost up to 25-28lbs with the proper tuning if you are looking for more power. I have had a couple of 4g63 and have been most happy with 20lbs for everyday use myself.
you are welcome to come and look at the car before bidding it is located near Tampa, FL. Please give me a call at 813-789-5875 with any questions.

Mitsubishi Mirage fuel economy challenge winner duct tapes his way to 74.1 MPG
Fri, Mar 14 2014There's a lesson to be learned from the Mitsubishi Motors' Extreme MPG Hypermiling Challenge: if you want to get your 2014 Mirage to get over 74 miles per gallon, apply duct tape. During the recent event, which ran from Las Vegas, NV to Cypress, CA (where Mitsubishi has its North American HQ), a number of journalists were "allowed to make very minor modifications to their cars from production form." Their solution was to put some colored duct tape over some of the gaps in the front fascia sheetmetal as a way to try and reduce aerodynamic drag. A combination of expertly applied sky blue tape on a Kiwi Green Mirage and careful driving allowed About.com's Aaron Gold to reach 74.1 mpg in the contest. That beat out Popular Mechanics' Mike Austin (driving a Plasma Purple Mirage) and Autobytel's Joni Gray (Sapphire Blue) who tied for second with an average mpg rating of 68.5. The $12,995 car's official EPA fuel economy ratings are 37 city/44 highway/40 combined (continuously-variable transmission model). You can read the Autoblog review of the '14 Mirage here, check out the press release below and keep an eye out for a 30-minute video version of the event on Cars.TV soon. About.com's Aaron Gold Crowned the Winner in Mitsubishi Motors' Extreme MPG Hypermiling Challenge by Achieving an Amazing 74.1 MPG in his 2014 Mitsubishi Mirage Cypress, California, March 13, 2014 – Aaron Gold of About.com, with an astounding fuel efficiency of 74.1 mpg driving his Kiwi Green 2014 Mitsubishi Mirage, finished today with the highest MPG in the Mitsubishi Motors Extreme MPG Hypermiling Challenge. Following Aaron in the 275-mile trek from Las Vegas, Nevada to the Mitsubishi Motors North America, Inc. (MMNA) headquarters in Cypress, California was Mike Austin from Popular Mechanics in his Plasma Purple Mirage and Joni Gray of Autobytel in her Sapphire Blue Mirage. Amazingly, both Mike and Joni tied with an average fuel economy rating of 68.5 mpg. "This was such an exciting event, to have such knowledgeable colleagues in our industry to push the limit to see how high of an MPG can be achieved in our 2014 Mirage," stated Don Swearingen, Executive Vice President of MMNA. "I never figured I'd come in over 70 MPG!" said winner Aaron Gold of About.com. "All three of us kept our speeds down; I think keeping my eyes way down the road, planning ahead and avoiding sudden changes of speed was what gave me the edge.
Mitsubishi Mirage bows in Montreal without a name, Canadian sales promised
Sun, 20 Jan 2013The Detroit Auto Show had plenty of major debuts for North American car buyers, but the Montreal Auto Show is being used for the North American debut of a new subcompact hatchback from Mitsubishi. Although this car is unnamed, it is almost identical to the redesigned Mirage we saw back at the 2011 Tokyo Auto Show (and has been on sale in Asian markets such as Thailand since last year), but it is unclear if the car will carry this name when it goes on sale for our neighbors to the north starting this fall.
Aside from a slightly less annoying shade the of green we saw the car painted in at the Tokyo show, there are a few changes made for the car's Canadian debut. The biggest difference is that it is almost three inches longer, which is likely a result of the new rear fascia that is also visually different with some altered lines and small, circular reflectors. Other changes include a bigger three-cylinder engine (with a 1.2-liter displacement instead of the Tokyo car's 1.0-liter engine) and headlights that have new amber lenses for side reflectors.
There is still no word as to whether or not we'll see this new car in Mitsubishi's US lineup anytime soon, but it does seem like a good competitor against cars like that Mazda2, Chevrolet Spark and Hyundai Accent.
Mitsubishi Mirage G4 sedan debuting in Montreal
Thu, 09 Jan 2014Around this same time last year, Mitsubishi used the Montreal Auto Show for the North American introduction of its 2014 Mirage. This year, the Japanese automaker will reveal the sedan version of the subcompact wearing the Mirage G4 nameplate, according to the auto show's website and a couple of fresh teaser images.
We got our first look at this Mirage sedan as previewed by the Concept G4 at the 2013 Shanghai Motor Show, and the production version of that sedan ended up wearing the Attrage name in Thailand and other global markets. There's no official information from Mitsubishi at this time about the Mirage G4, but we wouldn't be surprised to see the small sedan follow the same path as the hatchback, showing up for a US debut at the New York Auto Show before going on sale in the fall. Check out the teaser images in the gallery below.
