2002 Mitsubishi Lancer Es, One Owner, Very Clean, Runs Great, Only 70k Miles. on 2040-cars
Greenville, North Carolina, United States
This is a one-owner 2002 Mitsubishi Lancer ES with just under 70,000 miles. This is a very clean and smoke free car. The paint still shines with a good wash and wax. There is no body damage or rust. Everything on the car works as it should, including the AC which still blows cold. An after-market Pioneer cd player/radio was installed replacing the original factory radio. The Pioneer unit is Ipod/IPhone compatible, which is the reason why it was installed. A new exterior antenna was just installed. The car has one-year old 80,000 mile Pirelli tires with tons of tread left to go. The car starts right up and runs great. It still has the original timing belt. There was a transmission problem at about the 40,000 mile mark, but it was repaired by an authorized dealer. The oil and oil filter have been changed every 3,000 miles. The motor remains strong and problem free. This is a domestic sale only. Winning bidder must deposit $500.00 in PayPal account within 48 hours of auction end. Balance is due within seven (7) days of auction end. Balance payment must be cash or a certified payment. Seller is willing to assist with buyer's shipper for vehicle pick-up. Serious bidders only please. We are happy to answer any questions. Happy bidding. It's a great little car with a lot of room inside!

Mitsubishi Outlander, Evo to keep things safe at Pikes Peak
Tue, 18 Jun 2013Mitsubishi has already announced that it will be returning as a competitor to the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb with a pair of all-electric MiEV Evolution II racecars. In addition to these entrants, the automaker will also be the presenting sponsor of the race as well as providing the official safety vehicles to the event using specially prepped versions of the 2014 Outlander and Lancer Evolution.
While it isn't clear what exactly will be demanded of the safety vehicles, this isn't going to your run-of-the-mill pace car duty. To get the Outlander and Evo ready for the 156-turn, 12.42-mile course, Mitsubishi teamed up with companies such as BBS, Cobb Tuning, AEM and Muellerized Suspension Systems as well as DC Sports and Kenwood to create these one-off safety cars. These vehicles, and all the racecars, will be at Pikes Peak later this month for the 91st running of America's second-oldest racing event. Scroll down for the official press release.
Carlos Ghosn to step down as Nissan CEO on April 1
Thu, Feb 23 2017Carlos Ghosn announced he will be stepping down as CEO of the Nissan on April 1, to be replaced by current Nissan co-CEO Hiroto Saikawa. The move comes after close to two decades of leadership and the rebuilding of a company that was close to disaster. Ghosn isn't finished with the company he helped rebuild, as he will remain on as chairman of the board and continue on as leader of the Renault-Nissan Alliance following the change of guard. In addition to running Renault-Nissan, Ghosn has taken over as chairman of Mitsubishi Motors after acquiring a 34-percent stake in 2016, a move he spearheaded. Ghosn stated, "I am confident that the management team I have developed at Nissan over the past 18 years has the talent and experience to meet the company's operational and strategic goals. Having recently taken on new responsibilities at Mitsubishi Motors, and taking into consideration the upcoming Nissan general shareholders meeting, I have decided that the time is right for Hiroto Saikawa to succeed me as Nissan's CEO." A release from Renault-Nissan said the move allows Ghosn to focus more attention on bringing together the three companies. Saikawa, his replacement, has been with Nissan since 1977 and has overseen operations in the company's markets worldwide. Mitsubishi previews new Attrage global sedan
Tue, 21 May 2013It's been about a month since we first saw the Mitsubishi Concept G4 at the Shanghai Motor Show, but now the automaker has revealed the first images for the sedan in production trim. Wearing the Mitsubishi Attrage nameplate, this sedan will go on sale this summer in Thailand and could eventually makes its way to the US. Despite being essentially a sedan version of its subcompact Mirage, Mitsubishi refers to the Attrage as its next-generation global compact sedan, suggesting it's a fair bit larger than its hatchback counterpart.
We only have this single image to go on, but the new Attrage obviously has the same overall look as the Concept G4. As expected, it does lose some of the more conceptual bits, including the fancy headlights, grills and wheels. While the styling has us thinking back to the late 1990s, the true advantage of the Attrage is likely to be its fuel consumption. US fuel economy for the Attrage hasn't been released, but the closely related 2014 Mirage is expected to return 37 miles per gallon in the city and 44 mpg on the highway using the same 1.2-liter inline four-cylinder engine paired with either a five-speed manual or a continuously variable transmission. Scroll down for the brief press release for the Thai-built Attrage.
