It's finally time to sell my beloved Evo.  I've owned this car for quite some time now and at one point contemplated selling it, but instead decided to build it even more than it was and make a complete animal.  I succeeded.

What you're going to be purchasing is one of the most immaculate, well cared for Evos in the Midwest that has had ZERO expenses spared along the way.  I've built numerous cars in the past and never take the short road just to save a quick buck.  I made the mistake when purchasing this car of buying it from someone who took shortcuts and spent the first couple months sorting everything out.  I then decided to build it and turn it into the ultimate street and track monster that would destroy most bikes and anything else it came across while still handling like a GTR.  You'll find that most Evo's are owned by the younger crowd that lets things go until they break when this car was the exact opposite.  Anytime any sort of maintenance even came into slight question, the car was at the shop getting it fixed.  I never waited for anything and always bought top of the line parts for the car.

All of the work has been done by an extremely reputable shop in the IL area.  I will disclose full details, receipts, and everything to an interested party and am more than willing to arrange a PPI for anyone who would like at the facility of your choice.  I have absolutely nothing to hide and welcome it!  I know I get all of my cars PPI'd as well.

The Evo is currently tuned on E85 with two different tunes.  There is the daily, low boost tune that makes 500AWHP and then the kill tune which makes 750AWHP.  I have two ECU's available, the factory ECU that will pass emissions with ease and a standalone Autronic ECU which will offer you a little more power and customization, but will not pass emissions in some states.  You can have your pick of either depending on your needs for the car.

Over the last two years I've thrown about 30K (I have receipts for every single bolt on the car + build pictures as well) at the car to make it the ultimate street and track toy.  Unfortunately I haven't been able to make it to the track this year as I've been traveling 20+ days out of the month, but for anyone who is looking for a road course monster, this is it.

Onto the parts list!

Chip shortage will hit Nissan, Suzuki and Mitsubishi in June

Sat, May 22 2021

TOKYO — A global chip shortage is forcing Nissan and Suzuki to temporarily halt production at some plants in June, sources with direct knowledge of the plans told Reuters on Friday. Nissan will idle its factory in Kyushu, southern Japan, for three days on June 24, 25 and 28, while making production adjustments during the month at its Tochigi and Oppama plants in Japan, three sources said. Nissan will also temporarily halt production of some of its models at its Mexico plant, they said, declining to be identified because the plan is not public. "A global shortage of semiconductors has affected parts procurement in the auto sector. Due to the shortage, Nissan is adjusting production and taking necessary actions to ensure recovery," a Nissan spokeswoman said. Suzuki will idle its three plants in Shizuoka prefecture from three to nine days, two sources said, also declining to be identified because the plan is not public. The plan "has not been confirmed," a Suzuki spokesman said, explaining that while the carmaker gave its provisional production plan to auto part makers, it is still making adjustments to minimize the impact of the chip shortage. Elsewhere, Mitsubishi will reduce production by 30,000 vehicles in total in June at five plants in Japan, Thailand and Indonesia, a spokeswoman said, adding that the impact has already been factored into its earnings outlook for the current fiscal year. Mitsubishi EVs manage 1-2 division win at Pikes Peak *UPDATE

Tue, Jul 1 2014

*UPDATE: Monster's time has now officially been posted as 9:43.9. Looks like coming back for a third crack at the mountain was the right move for Mitsubishi. At the 2014 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb this past weekend, the two all-electric Mitsubishis, one piloted by Greg Tracy, the other by Hiroshi Masuoka came in first and second, respectively, in the Electric Vehicle division. The EVs were the third iteration of the MiEV Evolution prototype racer, which until now has had a tough time getting to the top of the podium. The first version crashed in 2012 and came in second and third – behind Nobuhiro "Monster" Tajima – last year. This year, Monster suffered a transponder glitch and his final time could only be estimated at 9:46 was 9:43.9. That's pretty much the same as last year, when he finished with a 9:46.530. Last year, the Mitsubishi duo finished with times of 10:21.866 (Masuoka) and 10:23.649 (Tracy), So, if Monster equaled his time from last year, then the Mistubishi drivers must have improved their times up the hill to beat him. They did more than that, though, dramatically lowering their times to 9:08.188 (Tracy) and 9:12.204 (Masuoka). What's most impressive is that Tracy's low time was just 2.4 seconds behind overall winner Romain Dumas, who drove a gasoline-powered Le Mans sports car prototype up the hill. Find more details below. MITSUBISHI MOTORS SCORES AN IMPRESSIVE 1-2 FINISH IN THE 2014 PIKES PEAK INTERNATIONAL HILL CLIMB Drivers Greg Tracy and Hiroshi Masuoka dominate the Electric Vehicle division in the innovative Mitsubishi MiEV Evolution III racing prototype Mon, Jun 30, 2014 - Colorado Springs, Colorado - A pair of Mitsubishi Motors North America, Inc. (MMNA) technologically advanced MiEV Evolution III all-electric prototype racecars placed first and second within the Electric Vehicle division in the 92st running of the famous Pikes Peak International Hill Climb (PPIHC) on Sunday, June 29th in the skillful hands of six-time PPIHC motorcycle champion Greg Tracy and two-time Dakar Rally winner Hiroshi Masuoka, respectively. Finishing a mere 2.4 seconds behind overall 2014 Pikes Peak race winner Romain Dumas and his gasoline-powered Le Mans sports car prototype, the stage has been set for highly energy-efficient and sustainable electric-powered vehicles like the Mitsubishi MiEV Evolution III to soon become the dominant force in this challenging one-of-a-kind motorsport competition.
