Hi, for sale is easily the best car I have ever owned.  It is a 2008 Evo X with 61,000 miles on it.  This car has been extremely well cared for with fluids changed and maintenance done regularly, parked in a finished garage, and never beat on, drag raced, or majorly modified in anyway.  The Evo is I believe the perfect combination of car traits, it's fast, handles amazing, and is responsive in everyway meanwhile it gets 25+ mpg on the highway, has room for 4+, and is comfortable enough for trips and everyday life.  I have falken eurowinter tires on it and have never felt safer driving a car in the snow.  The engine and drivetrain are smooth and operate like new.

Some features and minor mods include:
-apexi rs evo catback exhaust
-tein lowering springs
-carbon fiber SSS style rear wing
-aluminum parking brake/razo weighted shift knob
-factory aux audio ports
-Ralliart black tail-lights
-a new ACD pump
-aluminum underbody tray (I also have stock plastic one)
-intake

Imperfections include (I'm very picky and believe in being as up front and honest as possible):
-car was in a less than 5 mph fender bender and instead of fixing the old bumper I fought to have Mitsubishi install an OEM new one without license plate wholes at the dealership (front end looks perfectly brand new and clean)
-could use new brake pads in the future
-small scratch on passenger rear quarter panel
-carbon fiber spoiler has small chip in resin
-hood scoop paint is peeling slightly

Overall as the pictures can clearly show, this car is in great shape and whoever buys it will be more than happy with a reliable world beating sports car with looks that match it's performance.  I am the second owner and it was originally a California car.  The underbody looks very clean with no rust whatsoever.  It has a clear title with no liens.

Autocheck reports frame damage.  This is false, car has only been in the accident listed above and that was nothing more than a fender bender.  Auction house made error.

Thank you.

2013 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution GSR

Quick Corners And Long Goodbyes
Editor's Note: While driving the Mitsubishi Evolution in the slush and snow of a Michigan winter is a fine enterprise, photographing it in such conditions is usually not fruitful. That's why you'll notice a slight disparity between our wintry text and sunny, California-based photographs of the subject car. Rest assured, both the review vehicle and the photo car are of the same basic Evo GSR flavor.
It was a dreary, gray, barely sufferable winter morning in Ann Arbor, MI. Temperatures hovering just over 30 degrees allowed for snow or rain or some combination thereof at a moment's notice, and the thickly clouded sky hinted at dark secrets while promising nothing. I've never been a rally driver but I couldn't help but feel that this murky, imprecise day was good winter rally weather. I'll admit: I don't usually wake up and look out the window to judge which kind of racing would be best just then, but the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X GSR delivered to my house the day before was coloring the mood of the hour; most of my thoughts ran to where I was going to drive it, when, and how fast.

What to expect from the Japanese trial of Nissan and Greg Kelly

Sun, Sep 13 2020

TOKYO — The criminal trial against Japanese automaker Nissan and its former executive Greg Kelly will open in Tokyo District Court on Tuesday. ItÂ’s the latest chapter in the unfolding scandal of Carlos Ghosn, a superstar at Nissan until he and Kelly were arrested in late 2018. Five questions and answers about the trial: Q: WHAT ARE THE ALLEGATIONS? A: The charges center around KellyÂ’s role in alleged under-reporting of GhosnÂ’s future compensation by about 9 billion yen ($85 million), a violation of financial laws. Kelly says he is innocent. Nissan, which is also similarly charged, has already acknowledged guilt, made corrections to the compensation documents submitted to the authorities, and has started paying a 2.4 billion yen ($22.6 million) fine. Q: WHAT HAPPENS TO GHOSN? A: Probably nothing. He skipped bail late last year and is now in Lebanon, which has no extradition treaty with Japan. Two Americans, Michael Taylor and his son Peter Taylor are being held in Massachusetts without bail, suspected of having helped Ghosn escape by hiding in a box on a private jet. A U.S. judge recently approved their extradition to Japan. The case is now before the U.S. State Department. Q: HOW DO CRIMINAL TRIALS PROCEED IN JAPAN? A: The trial, before a panel of three judges, is expected to take about a year. There is no jury. Juries are selected only for extremely serious cases in Japan, such as murder. In principle, there are no plea bargains although backroom deals are made all the time. Closed pre-trial sessions are held ahead of the trialÂ’s opening, often for months before the real trial begins. Japan's legal system has come under fire from both within and outside the country as “hostage justice” because suspects often are held for months and interrogated without a lawyer present, often leading to false confessions, according to critics. Q: WHAT ARE KELLYÂ’S CHANCES? A: More than 99% of criminal trials in Japan result in a conviction. Japanese Justice Minister Masako Mori, in an online presentation in English hosted by the Japanese Embassy in the U.S., argued the conviction rate is so high because Japan prosecutes only about a third of the cases that come up, choosing only those that “result in guilty verdicts.” She insisted there is a “presumption of innocence.” She declined comment on KellyÂ’s case.

Mitsubishi Outlander, Evo to keep things safe at Pikes Peak

Tue, 18 Jun 2013

Mitsubishi has already announced that it will be returning as a competitor to the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb with a pair of all-electric MiEV Evolution II racecars. In addition to these entrants, the automaker will also be the presenting sponsor of the race as well as providing the official safety vehicles to the event using specially prepped versions of the 2014 Outlander and Lancer Evolution.
While it isn't clear what exactly will be demanded of the safety vehicles, this isn't going to your run-of-the-mill pace car duty. To get the Outlander and Evo ready for the 156-turn, 12.42-mile course, Mitsubishi teamed up with companies such as BBS, Cobb Tuning, AEM and Muellerized Suspension Systems as well as DC Sports and Kenwood to create these one-off safety cars. These vehicles, and all the racecars, will be at Pikes Peak later this month for the 91st running of America's second-oldest racing event. Scroll down for the official press release.
