I have this car for almost 6 years and 45,000 miles. Everything has been replaced at the dealership with OEM parts. Oil has been changed every 3000 miles with Castrol Syntec and K&N filter, air filter every 6000 miles, and spark plugs every 18,000 miles. Clutch was replaced by the previous owner. Clean title. 110,005 and 140,025 Flushed transmission. 220$ 117,270 Water pump, timing belt, tensioners, etc. 1300$ 121,890 Thermostat, upper hose, lower hose, radiator. 800$ 129,814 Front and rear shocks, front and rear springs, every single control arm, tie rod, ball joint and suspension part that goes in the car. $2100 142,666 Brakes and pads all around, spark plug wires. $700 It has HID lights. Everything works, sunroof, power windows, power locks, keyless remotes. I have 2 keyless remotes and the valet key. Brand new OEM windshield. New battery. JBL MP3 radio or stock radio. The car runs excellent, no engine light, abs light, or airbag light on. It passed inspection a couple months ago with flying colors. Mitsubishi profits in North America for first time in seven years
Fri, Apr 24 2015Well, this is a change of pace. Mitsubishi has actually made some money in North America. It's the company's first operating profit in seven years, and while it might only be $4.18 million – yes, Mitsubishi made less in 2014 than some professional athletes – it's definitely a start. Sales in the US were up 19 percent between January and March, to 32,000 units, while 2014's overall sales jumped 21 percent to 117,000 units, Automotive News reports. Perhaps more impressively, the company is predicting a bountiful 2015, with sales up to 128,000 units and operating profits climbing to $58.5 million. If Mitsubishi is doing this with cars like the ancient Lancer and the awful Mirage, we should probably expect some good things when newer, more competent vehicles like the new Outlander hit dealers.
2013 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport models with leather seats recalled over airbag fears
Tue, 25 Feb 2014Mitsubishi is recalling 733 of its 2013 Outlander Sports that were fitted with leather seat covers due to problems with the seat-mounted airbags. Apparently, the wiring for the airbags may have been routed incorrectly when the seat covers were installed at the port.
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration bulletin, the issue only really crops up if owners adjust the height of the seats. Naturally, if the seat wiring is damaged, the airbag may not deploy in the event of a side impact.
The affected vehicles were all manufactured between July 20, 2012 and May 29, 2013. There have been no reported injuries or accidents due to this issue. Mitsubishi, meanwhile, will begin notifying owners, who will need to report to their local dealer for free inspections or repairs. Take a look below for the bulletin from NHTSA.
Mitsubishi ready to expand PHEV lineup with ASX, Pajero
Sun, Oct 12 2014Mitsubishi likes what it's seen from plug-in hybrid sales of its Outlander SUV in Europe. Now, it looks like the Japanese automaker will go back to that proverbial well within the next few years. And, once again, SUVs will be the medium. Mitsubishi will start selling plug-in hybrid versions of its ASX compact crossover, the company's best-selling model in Europe, in 2017, Automotive News Europe says, citing comments from Osamu Masuko. A year after that, the company will debut the Pajero plug-in hybrid SUV. No details were disclosed about exactly what kind of PHEV powertains will be used in the vehicles, which will be part of the next-generation incarnations of both models. The ASX appears to be a good trial vehicle, given that more than 22,000 of them were sold in Europe through August, Automotive News reports, citing JATO Dynamics. Mitsubishi representatives didn't immediately respond to a request for comment from AutoblogGreen. The company appears to be looking to build on the success of the Outlander Plug-in Hybrid. Mitsubishi sold almost 9,000 Outlander PHEVs in Europe during the first six months of the year. That model pairs a 2.0-liter gas engine with an electric motor and has an all-electric range of about 32 miles.
