1998 Mitsubishi 3000gt Sl Coupe 2-door 3.0l-low Miles on 2040-cars
Granger, Indiana, United States
98 Mitsubishi 3000GT SL. Low 79,802 miles. Garage kept with no rust. Pioneer AVIC-D3 DVD, Navigation and CD player with wireless Blue Tooth. Power amp. power amp installed in rear trunk. Power sunroof. 5 speed manual. About 26 mpg highway. New clutch installed about 2 years ago. New brakes all around and rotors installed about 2 months ago. I have all the maintenance receipts and the inspection report from when I purchased it. Leather interior in good shape. No rips or tears. Has some normal wear on the driver seat from entering and exiting the car. The rims are new and were purchased from Tire Rack. It will need new tires soon. That is really the only thing I can say that it needs. It runs great. Heat and air work great. I recently got it out from storage and noticed a wheel bearing noise from the front driver side. Alignment is straight. The exterior paint is in decent shape. It does have a scratch from me backing into the trash can (see pic) and some normal wear on the paint. It does have car mats included also. Please email me if you have any questions.

Mitsubishi readying Outlander refresh
Sat, 02 Aug 2014Mitsubishi has a big secret to keep under wraps when it comes to the looks of its refreshed Outlander crossover. Our spy shooters recently caught it testing in Germany, and the CUV had enough buckles, straps and snaps covering up the front end for the vehicle to fit in at an S&M party for cars. The rear was hidden just as thoroughly, too.
Given the areas that Mitsubishi's engineers are obscuring, it seems safe to assume that the Outlander is getting a heavily revised front end with redesigns for the grille, front bumper and possibly hood. The lights might be reshaped too, judging from these photos. The changes are just as hard to spot at the rear, but you can make out the shape of the taillights. They appear more rectangular than the current model, and the bumper looks more angular, as well.
This is likely our first glimpse of the of the major restyle for the Outlander that Mitsubishi execs told Autoblog about in July. The interior is also getting an update to improve interior material quality, we were told. The revisions are supposed to coincide with the launch of the PHEV model in the US at roughly the same time.
Watch Mitsubishi break the EV record at Pikes Peak
Wed, 09 Jul 2014Take a listen folks - you're hearing the eventual future of motorsports. This is Greg Tracy and the Mitsubishi MiEV Evolution III as they assault the treacherous course at Pikes Peak in just 9:08.188.
This run is significant for a number of reasons. As we recapped in our Pikes Peak finale post, Tracy's run was a mere two seconds off the best overall time at this year's event, snagging him and Mitsubishi second place overall, as well as first in the Electric Modified class and the fourth fastest time ever recorded. Perhaps more importantly, though, Tracy thoroughly trounced the previous EV record at Pikes Peak, beating the legendary Nobuhiro "Monster" Tajima's 2013 best of 9:46.530.
It's an impressive feat, and now you can experience the whole run from as near a first-person viewpoint as you're going to get. Scroll down and have a look.
Even Consumer Reports is savaging the Mitsubishi Mirage
Tue, 24 Jun 2014When we reviewed the 2014 Mitsubishi Mirage a few months ago, we absolutely hated it. Our conclusion was that if you needed a car in this segment to either pay a few hundred dollars more for a Chevy Spark or spend less for an entry-level Nissan Versa. Basically, avoid this Mitsubishi at all costs. It turns out that we weren't the only ones who despised it. Consumer Reports can often find something positive about just about any vehicle, but even the usually gentle publication struggles to find compliments when it comes to the Mirage.
It's most serious gripe concerns the model's handling. CR describes the way that the Mirage wallows around turns with tons of body lean even at low speeds as "scary." A little car with a curb weight of 2,051 pounds just shouldn't corner this poorly.
While Consumer Reports definitely has no love when it comes to the 2014 Mirage, finding something to dislike about practically every aspect of the vehicle from its powertrain to the interior, the reviewers do end up digging out one positive aspect. You'll have to scroll down and watch the video to find out what it is.
