Pristine Condition 1992 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4 For Sale!!!! TWIN TURBO!! 180MPH Speedometer!!!

This car has Fans!!!

Second owner weekend car,  babied and well cared for. No accidents on record. Top condition and ready to drive away. Master Mechanic tuned it up just before auction. It has Brand New Clutch Kit installed, New Timing Belt, fresh oil changes everywhere, all fluid levels replaced, New Breaks on all 4 wheels,  rotors cleaned and resurfaced, all new belts and new serpentine belt tooAntenna is new, but not original. Has Updated Touch Screen Stereo, SD card slot,  MP3...etc. All the bells and whistles. I didn't mess with it but I think it plays movies too.  All other controls are functional and original.  Heat's blaring and AC's ice cold. The left back wheel does have a rim that needs to be straightened out a bit. It's not a big deal and doesn't affect the function or speed, but if you're a true fan of this car like most, I know you'll want it taken care of ASAP and I will take it to the shop for you if you pluck some cheese down.

That's about all the issues I see with this car. The only thing you could possibly improve on is putting a few seat covers on the leather seats and perhaps a new clear coat on top as it's wearing a little from the sun. This car was stored in the south and received a lot of sun, on the plus side it has no rust damage below. Better move fast, a beauty like this isn't going to last!

This car has no mods on it. Save for a few repairs, everything is stock or original! (Although we did upgrade the stereo.) This car is a thrill to ride in, but it's also safe. You can turn hard and fast but it doesn't fish tail and feels very stable. You want to pass that guy in front of you? you can do it in 3 seconds. I don't promote reckless driving but this car seriously leaves all the other new models in the dust. The Twin Turbo and sheer horse power of this thing is amazing! you have to try it to know. Compared with an 2004 Rx8 this car has better acceleration and is more stable.  Given the choice I'd pick this one hands down every time!!!

To cover all the specs of the stock Mitsubishi 3000GT in depth, you'll need to check out CJBYRON's site. Just google Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4 and it should show in the top 5 search results. I would post a link but ebay forbid it. II'm not affiliated with the site, just think they do a better job than I ever could to describe such magnificent beauty.

Japan could consolidate to three automakers by 2020

Thu, Feb 11 2016

Sergio Marchionne might see his dream of big mergers in the auto industry become a reality, and an analyst thinks Japan is a likely place for consolidation to happen. Takaki Nakanishi from Jefferies Group LLC tells Bloomberg the country's car market could combine to just three or fewer major players by 2020, from seven today. "To have one or two carmakers in a country is not only natural, but also helpful to their competitiveness," Nakanishi told Bloomberg. "Japan has just too many and the resources have been too spread out. It's a natural trend to consolidate and reduce some of the wasted resources." Nakanishi's argument echoes Marchionne's reasons to push for a merger between FCA and General Motors. Automakers spend billions on research and development, but their competitors also invest money to create the same solutions. Consolidating could conceivably put that R&D money into new avenues. "In today's global marketplace, it is increasingly difficult for automakers to compete in lower volume segments like sports cars, hydrogen fuel cells, or electrified vehicles on their own," Ed Kim, vice president of Industry Analysis at AutoPacific, told Autoblog. Even without mergers, these are the areas where Japanese automakers already have partners for development. Kim cited examples like Toyota and Subaru's work on the BRZ and FR-S and its collaboration with BMW on a forthcoming sports car. Honda and GM have also reportedly deepened their cooperation on green car tech. After Toyota's recent buyout of previous partner Daihatsu, Nakanishi agrees with rumors that the automotive giant could next pursue Suzuki. He sees them like a courting couple. "For Suzuki, it's like they're just starting to exchange diaries and have yet to hold hands. When Toyota's starts to hold 5 percent of Suzuki's shares, this will be like finally touching fingertips," Nakanishi told Bloomberg. "I absolutely do believe that we are not finished seeing consolidation in Japan," Kim told Autoblog. Rising development costs to meet tougher emissions regulations make it hard for minor players in the market to remain competitive. "The smaller automakers like Suzuki, Mazda, and Mitsubishi are challenged to make it on their own in the global marketplace. Consolidation for them may be inevitable." Related Video:

Should you buy an EV?

Mon, Aug 17 2015

Gas prices are hitting the skids and EVs are following suit; nearly every model in today's market has experienced a double-digit decline in sales – with the always notable exception of the Tesla Model S. Some EVs are in the last year of their generation while others have been half-heartedly designed and engineered to fulfill federal government quotas. The two non-Tesla front runners, the Chevy Volt and Nissan Leaf, are in the unfortunate position of offering customers "2015" vehicles that were designed with 2011 in mind. Yet there's plenty of love in the air. Nissan has built over 180,000 Leafs worldwide, and chances are you will be seeing a second electric vehicle accompanying the Leaf when the new generation is released in the coming months. The Chevy Volt now offers the highest customer satisfaction out of any car or truck sold in North America. Forget the luxury cars, the sports cars, the family trucksters, and even the rolling flagship that guides Tesla's jaw dropping valuation on Wall Street. You want happy with your EV? The brand that's rocking the segment right now is Chevy. It's been doing so for a while. The EV market is poised to become a lot more sophisticated over the next 18 months with the three leading manufacturers – Tesla, General Motors, and Nissan – launching five brand new models along with no fewer than 16 other manufacturers making many of their bread and butter cars available as plug-in hybrids. So, if you want to keep your money as far away from the Arab dictatorships and Russian mafia as Mercury is from Pluto, and enjoy your commute, we're more than ready to do our part! So let's begin with the most important question. What's Your Range? How much driving do you generally do in a day? If the answer to that question is 50 miles or fewer, an all-electric vehicle like the Nissan Leaf may be the best ingredient for your driving recipe. This is especially true if you have a second vehicle you can use for the occasional longer drive or are willing to rent for the weekend. But here's a little surprise for you. The upcoming Chevy Volt was designed to be driven in all-electric mode for over 50 miles. Fifty-three, to be exact. Plus, the Volt's battery has experienced a lot fewer deterioration issues than the Nissan Leaf's due in part to the Volt's liquid-cooled battery, which also uses a lot less of its capacity than the air-cooled Leaf's does.

Ghosn: Restoring Mitsubishi's reputation is biggest challenge

Thu, May 12 2016

After news that Mitsubishi falsified its fuel economy data on every vehicle it has sold in Japan since 1991, and the tumble in the company's value that followed, the troubled carmaker has an unlikely savior. Nissan has confirmed it will purchase over one third of Mitsubishi's stock, or 34 percent. The stake is valued at $2.2 billion. Ghosn says making Mitsubishi a part of the Renault-Nissan alliance will save billions in development costs. But the merger certainly isn't without challenges. "The biggest challenge is to support Mitsubishi changing itself and growing and being profitable and restoring its reputation," said Ghosn. Nissan is a natural partner for Mitsubishi, and since the fuel economy scandal escalated from discrepancies in the data regarding Mitsubishi-manufactured, Nissan-badged Japan-market vehicles, it makes sense for the company to sweep in and save the day. Nissan itself is partially owned by Renault, and Nissan has a 15-percent stake in the French automaker. Mitsubishi's chairman, Osamu Masuko says that the merger was inevitable, that it "would have happened one day" anyway, according to the New York Times. Carlos Ghosn, chairman of both Nissan and Renault, is confident they will be able to turn Mitsubishi's fortunes around. "We have the track record to make it work", Ghosn said, referring to the Renault-funded rescue of Nissan in the early 2000s. Related Video:
