I am selling my 93 3000GT VR4. This is the Twin Turbo model with All Wheel Drive and All Wheel Steering. 5-speed manual transmission. Only 79k miles! Clean Carfax report. Metallic Green exterior with a tan leather interior. Power Everything. This model even includes a huge removable sunroof. The VR4's also come with adjustable suspension, active aero and sport/touring exhaust. This is a southern car from South Carolina that has never seen snow. 100% stock. Never modified or tracked. All maintenance has been performed.

I would rate the exterior of the car a 7+/10. There are some light scratches here and there but nothing major. Most of the light scratches have been touched up by the previous owner. I noticed that the rear wing has been repainted at some point in the past. The texture of the paint is a little different than the rest of the car. The rims are in solid shape as well. 2 of the 4 rims have some curb wear. All 4 tires are almost brand new. All glass is in good shape. There are a couple scratches in the glass on the driver window. Brakes are in perfect working order. The interior of the car I'd rate an 8/10. The front seats have been reupholstered with new leather by the previous owner. All power seat functions work great. The passenger side carpet has a couple small spots of discoloration. I will work on cleaning this up before the sale. Just needs a little shampoo. The dash vents are cracked as usual on these cars. This doesn't cause any issues other than appearance. The climate control monitor works perfectly without any problem as well as all the gauges. The only item worth mention is that the tachometer works intermittently. Everything else works perfect on the cluster. I will look into this as well before the sale. Overall a very clean car.

The engine runs strong and pulls hard. The turbo's boost as they should without any issues. The car has never been modified and boost has never been raised higher than stock levels. The car was previously owned by an older gentlemen who used it for weekend driving. The Transmission shifts smooth without any grinding. AWD and AWS systems work as they are supposed to. All power options and lights work as well. Overall a great car for daily driving or for the sunny weekends.

Car has a clean and clear Michigan title. No leins. 2 Sets of keys will come with the car.

Please do not waste my time and I promise not to waste yours.

If you have any questions please contact me on my cell. Please feel free to call anytime.

Thanks for your interest.

Japan readying first stealth fighter for 2016 test

    Thu, Dec 3 2015

This post is appearing on Autoblog Military, Autoblog's sub-site dedicated to the vehicles, aircraft and ships of the world's armed forces. The nation of Japan is somewhat unique in terms of the world's militaries. Following its loss in World War II, the country was stripped of its ability to wage war, and its military was reestablished nearly a decade later not as an aggressive force but as a self-defense force. Today, the Japanese constitution forbids the country from maintaining anything but its Ground, Maritime, and Air Self-Defense Forces. Since Prime Minister Shinzo Abe first took office in September 2006 and continuing in his second term, which began in late 2012, Japan's military has seen something of a renaissance. Earlier this year, the country's legislature officially approved a new law that allowed Japan to use its military in international conflicts, even if there's no direct threat to the Home Islands. And even earlier still, Japan announced a desire to increase its drone capability. Now, like the US, Russia, and China, the country is preparing its own stealth fighter. Slated to take to the skies for its maiden flight in early 2016, the Advanced Technology Demonstrator X is a Mitsubishi-built plane that looks like the lovechild of an F-22 Raptor, an F-16 Falcon, and an F/A-18 Hornet. According to the attached video from Bloomberg, the ATD-X carries all the stealth fighter hallmarks. Its shape is designed to minimize its radar cross-section, while the body is coated in radar-absorbent material. And of course, the weapons systems are stored within underbelly bays. But why is Japan even testing it, especially when you consider the company placed an order for 42 F-35 Lightning IIs way back in 2011? Well, for one, it's going to be a lot more affordable than the F-35, which is the single most expensive weapons platform in human history. Where individual F-35s cost around $100 million, depending on what source you're looking at, Bloomberg reports that the ATD-X could be developed for just $324 million. Even if there are some utterly absurd cost overruns and the per-unit cost is closer to astronomical than affordable, putting together a fleet of production ATD-X's is probably going to be cheaper overall. You can hear more about why Japan is considering the ATD-X in the video down below. Check it out.

Mitsubishi confirms pair of MiEV Evolution II electric racecars for Pikes Peak

    Fri, 17 May 2013

Preparing for next month's Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, Mitsubishi - the presenting sponsor of this year's PPIHC - has unveiled its entrant for the race: the all-electric MiEV Evolution II. Building off last year's MiEV-inspired entrant, the Evolution II has received numerous improvements, including a more powerful electric drive system, a lower center of gravity and even a more traditional racecar look. Driving a pair of MiEV Evolution II models this year will be Hiroshi Masuoka from Mitsubishi vehicle development and six-time PPIHC motorcycle winner, Greg Tracy.
Both MiEV Evolution II racers employ a quartet of electric motors (last year's car used just three), and output has been increased from 280 kilowatts (375 horsepower) up to 400 KW (536 hp). For improved handling, the cars' lithium-ion battery packs help provide lower centers of gravity, and both Masuoka's and Tracy's cars have received active yaw control, stability control and redesigned anti-lock braking systems. Hopefully, this will help them stick to the mountain better. As previously mentioned, even their look has changed, with less of a wide-body i-MiEV feel and more of a racecar appearance. We think the finished product would actually make for a pretty cool Le Mans Prototype racer, or perhaps an electrically powered rival for trackday cars like those from Radical.

Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution recalled over clutch woes

    Fri, 25 Oct 2013

Mitsubishi will be recalling over 10,000 Lancer Evolutions built between December 12, 2007 and March 5, 2013, covering model years 2008 to 2013. The recall only affects cars with manual transmissions, though, so if you opted for a Lancer Evo with a quick-shifting SST, this recall doesn't apply to you.
If you're one of the 10,474 people that has a Lancer Evo X GSR, which is the only way into a manual-trans Evo X, you need to plan a trip to your local dealer. The recall relates to a failure in the clutch master cylinder, making shifting in and out of gear difficult. Consequently, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reports that this could increase the odds of crashing.
Mitsu will notify owners of the affected cars, and these Evo models will be repaired, free of charge, at dealerships. The recall is slated to begin around November 11. Scroll down for the full bulletin from the NHTSA.
