FUN FUN FUN!!!  Get great MPG (36 average) with power to spare!  This car is a blast to drive.  It is not practical for me with a family of 5 though.  This car comes with an extended power train warranty to 100,000 miles that stays with the vehicle!  Car is in great condition!  Tires are less than 6 months old!!!  There is one ding on the passenger side that I tried to get a picture of.  I used the matching vehicle paint stick to try to cover it.  You only see it in the right sunlight (see picture).

This car is fast and fun and saves GAS at the same time!  This car was smoked in by the previous owner.  I have had the carpets steam cleaned and replaced the filters.  It still has a slight smell of smoke.  If you are sensitive to that, then do NOT bid.  It isn't bad, but I'm trying to be upfront here.  No surprises.  This is a really clean MINI COOPER S that you will LOVE to drive.  It is so much fun.  Save thousands off buying a new one.  All maintenance has been done (it's included in the warranty) at the dealer.  Just got a clean bill of health from the dealer about 2 weeks ago.  Everything works as it should, and nothing in no operable.  You won't be disappointed with this buy.

Mini Clubman Concept isn't mini, isn't a Clubman

Wed, 05 Mar 2014

Hey, remember when Mini was... mini? I know, you've heard all this before. But seriously.
Take this new Mini Clubman Concept, for example. As you'll recall, the current Clubman slots in between the Hardtop and Countryman models in the Mini lineup. But because the new, third-generation Mini has grown, so has everything else. And in fact, the concept car seen here is actually 4.4 inches longer and just over 2 inches wider than the current, already-large Countryman. The future of Mini looks awfully maxi.
Furthermore, the Clubman as we know it uses a weird, five-door layout (two up front, a third, suicide door, and two barn doors out back), but this concept adds a sixth door for a decidedly more conventional layout. Of course, four real doors for passengers sort of takes the uniqueness out of the Clubman package, and essentially makes this thing a not-as-tall, front-wheel-drive Countryman. Totally necessary, right?

Mini Traveller MPV caught on flatbed with five-door Mini and convertible

Fri, 15 Nov 2013

With the next-gen Mini Cooper hardtop set for its big debut next week at the LA Auto Show, we're getting a good look at what will be coming next for the BMW brand. Mini will follow up the introduction of the Mini Cooper with the new convertible model, but our spy shooters have proof that a plus-sized model (rumored to be called Traveller or Spacebox) is coming along quite well.
There still isn't much information about the Traveller (shown above), which will be longer and wider than the Countryman, but we can tell that it takes dimensional cues from both the Countryman and Clubman to maximize passenger and cargo space. The face of this new model will definitely be closer to the 2015 Cooper, and it will have a split rear door setup like the Clubman. Like the more recent Countryman and Paceman designs, though, the Traveller will have horizontally positioned taillights instead of the Cooper's vertical lights. We have no indication as to when we'll be seeing the Traveller in production form, but this prototype seems to be in the final stages of development.
As for the Cooper, we've already spied the hardtop completely uncovered, and just recently we spotted the sportier Cooper S Convertible being transported on a flatbed. The dual center-outlet exhaust is the key tell that model was the S, which likely means that the droptop spotted here the base model.

Mini teases third-gen hatch to debut next week

Mon, 11 Nov 2013

All it takes is a small spark to set off a fire. Just look at what has happened since BMW brought back the Mini in the early 2000s. What started with a hatchback has since spawned more bodystyles than we care to count and almost as many imitators. The second generation followed in 2007, and now Mini is preparing to launch the third.
The new Mini is scheduled to debut a week from now on November 18 at the Oxford plant in England, just days before the LA Auto Show and Tokyo Motor Show kick off and on the birthday of the original's designer Sir Alec Issigonis.
The third generation of the popular retro hatchback is expected to closely follow the lead set by the Mini Vision concept revealed a few months ago, but then we already knew that, having seen numerous undisguised photos of the new car in action. Still, the half-minute teaser video embedded below does a decent job of drumming up some enthusiasm, so if you're enamored of the Anglo-Saxon retromobile, head on down to check it out.
