Here is a chance to buy a nice convertible for summer at the affordable price 2006 mini cooper S model convertible red on black 6 speed manual runs great , i bought this car about a year and half ago , i have replaced the rear tires to brand new ones front tires are near new as well , interior is in great shape 17" wheels XENON LIGHTS , car drives like a dream no known accident that i am aware of i think the trunk may been painted at some point car fax is good and shows no accident when i bought it about a year ago or so ,top is in good condition , CD player oil changed on time with synthetic oil only .car is a bit small for me due to health issue i need a bigger car and just bought a 4 door sedan so its time for this little one to go :(

Mini Clubvan axed after just 50 sales
Wed, 17 Jul 2013Well, that didn't last long. According to Green Car Reports, Mini has discontinued the Clubvan from its model range in the United States.
Nathalie Bauters, Mini's US communications manager, cited "relatively low demand and the effect of an excessive 25-percent tax on vehicles for commercial use (known as 'the Chicken Tax')" as the key reasons for axing the Clubman from our market, GCR reports. The 2013 Clubvan launched in the US earlier this year, and to date roughly 50 examples have been sold.
The Clubvan, based on the Clubman model, features a flat load floor behind the two front seats, with blacked-out (well, body-colored) side windows. This nifty little cargo wagon could carry up to 33 cubic feet of goods, which while useful, pales in comparison to more capacious offerings like the Ford Transit Connect van.
Mini 're-evaluating' relationship with Abby Wambach following DUI arrest
Mon, Apr 4 2016Mini USA is "re-evaluating" its relationship with former US Women's National Soccer Team star Abby Wambach after the 35-year-old was arrested for driving under the influence on Sunday morning. Wambach was just one of the athletes that joined Mini's recently launched "Defy Labels" campaign. She was driving a 2014 Land Rover Range Rover – not a Mini – at the time of the arrest. "We're obviously concerned about the alleged DUI attributed to Abby Wambach. This behavior is against the values we promote as an organization and the safety of everyone on the road is a priority here at Mini," the company said in an official statement obtained by Automotive News. "Because of this, we are re-evaluating her association with the brand and are pulling content that individually features Abby from our marketing. We will continue to assess the situation and weigh our options." Wambach was arrested in Portland, OR after running a red light in her Range Rover. Her blood alcohol content was not released by the Portland Police Bureau, although she was described as "polite and courteous" throughout the affair, according to a statement.
