You are looking at a one of a kind 2005 Mini Cooper S

Current mileage is 69,051- however, this is my daily driver and this number is subject to change.

This car is in great condition, peppy and a true pleasure to drive. Steering is tight. This car was truly made to hug the road.

The stock wheels were professionally painted to match the car. The red lip is a decal, so if that is not your taste, you can simply remove it. :) (The red hood stripes are also decals).

I have aftermarket headlights on the car- black housing, halos and HID bulbs. I have the stock headlights floating somewhere in my garage and I will be happy to give those to you also if I can find them.

Aftermarket amber parking lights.

Tinted tail lights (NOT DECALS).

Since I have bought the car I have put FULL SYNTHETIC oil in and premium fuel only.

Flaws:
There are some small paint chips, but the paint is still in beautiful condition. No dents that I can point out. The roof is basically immaculate.

Passenger door does not unlock on it's own.

The power steering pump fan will need replaced, it is still in working condition; however it is bent and hits up against the housing of the car. When running the air conditioning, the P.S. fan will turn on and you can hear this noise. For a factory replacement fan (on MiniMania.com which has been my preferred parts/ enthusiast site) it is $199.99. I believe if you know your way decently around a car, you will be able to do this yourself at home. This part is very accessible when the car is jacked up. I would also suggest purchasing a fan shield (can be found for around $40.00) so that the fan doesn't get bent once again by road debris (rocks, etc).

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The reason I am going to have to part ways with my car is because I am soon leaving for college and won't be needing this. I have procrastinated selling my car for a few months now because I love it so much, and as sad as it is, it has to be done. Don't miss out on this gem. It is a head turner everywhere I go and am complimented on the daily about it!

Car will be sold as is. No warranty. Local pickup or shipping only in the U.S. Will help find a shipment company if you need me to.

Any other questions or if you want specific pictures of anything additional, please let me know and I will be happy to accommodate you! You may email me at holcombalicia@yahoo.com

Bronco, Yukon, Hummer and a CES recap | Autoblog Podcast #610

Fri, Jan 17 2020

In this week's Autoblog Podcast, Editor-in-Chief Greg Migliore is joined by Consumer Editor Jeremy Korzeniewski and Assistant Editor Zac Palmer. They kick things off by talking about recent news, including the revival of the Hummer name as an electric pickup, revealing Ford Bronco spy shots and the unveiling of the 2021 GMC Yukon. Then Zac tells about his time in Las Vegas attending CES 2020. They talk about the cars they've been driving: a JCW-tuned Mini Clubman, the long-term Subaru Forester with its new gold wheels, a Volvo S60 PHEV that's been added to the long-term fleet, and a Camry Hybrid. Last, but not least, they help a listener decide how to spend his money on a sports car. Watch this Chinese stunt driver parallel park with only 3 inches to spare

Mon, Nov 24 2014

Whenever this writer thinks of fancy parking jobs, we go straight to Buddy Love singing Strokin' in a red Dodge Viper he slides into a tiny space in The Nutty Professor. But after watching the video above, we might have to start thinking about Han Yue, who broke the world record for getting into the tightest parallel parking space. The previous record was set in July 2013 by Alastair Moffatt, who had 3.4 inches to spare between his car and those around. Yue used a Mini Cooper at the China Drift Championship in Chongqing, China, to shrink that gap to 3.15 inches. That gave Yue two world records at the same event: the day before, he used a BMW M4 to set the world record for doing the most donuts around a car driving on two wheels. Which, frankly, we didn't even know was a competitive thing... 2014 Mini Cooper interior spied uncovered in China

Wed, 14 Aug 2013

As we approach the November 18 debut of the new Mini Hardtop, the trickle of news is starting to increase. We've already shown you the exterior of the new hatchback, and now we can show you the interior. These images, captured by Car News China, show a cabin that maintains a few key Mini styling items, but is a fairly progressive evolution of the current R56 model.
Mini's most iconic interior treatment, its center-mounted speedometer, is now gone. The new speedo sits atop the steering column, flanked by a (too tiny, in our opinion) tachometer. In the speedometer's former position are the radio controls. Our friends in China put it best when they say, "The large dial is much uglier than before." There's a mass of buttons and unfriendly black plastic that, at first glance, look far cheaper than the rest of the cabin. Of course, we'll wait to see how this is all ironed out for the production-spec car.
The other parts of the interior, however, look quite good. There's a small bank of toggle buttons at the bottom of the center stack, and the checkerboard dash insert looks clean as well. The seats sport extensions for the bottom cushions, meaning there'll be the option of more support for drivers with longer legs. GTI fans might also notice the plaid bolsters on the seats. Mini's treatment is a bit more subtle than what you'd see on a Volkswagen, though.
