EXPERTLY MAINTAINED IN TOP CONDITION @ EUROPEAN MOTORSPORTS IN CHICO. SERVICE RECORDS FROM PURCHASE IN 2003 TO CURRENT. FUN TO DRIVE."

So Fun to Drive - Low Center of Gravity, Tight on the Turns, YOU WILL LOVE YOUR NEW SPORTS CAR!  We have maintained our Mini Cooper in Excellant Condition.

Typical for all vehicles the clutch usually goes at 70,000 miles - Our Mini has a NEW clutch (from the premier: European Motorsports on 5/2013).  Most Mini Cooper's do not have space for a spare tire - So best to buy Run-Flat tires.  We purchased NEW RUN-FLAT TIRES on 6/2013, the shop had a super deal on a set of great wheels... so we upgraded and got the new wheels as well. (We love our Mini).  Finally the Super-Charger was making a funny noise - so we took it into European Motorsports and replaced the Super Charger and Water Pump 8/2013; that was expensive 3,000., but we could not sell the car we have so enjoyed without knowing for sure that it was going to continue to be a fun and loved car.  Why Sell?....... Family grew, Car didn't.
This Mini NICE - We will park the Mini in a busy view this weekend - and expect this gem to sell fast. European Motorsports in Chico, talk to Garrett he can tell you all about the inside of this fine vehicle, the exterior is perfect- SHARP/Tight!

Production Mini Rocketman still in the cards, but not without a partner

Mon, 02 Dec 2013

There's not really any way around it - the new Mini Hardtop isn't all that mini. Considering its supposed to be the smallest model in the brand's lineup, this is hardly desirable. It's good news, then, that rumors are cropping up of a smaller Mini, based on the well-received Rocketman Concept that debuted in 2011 at the Geneva Motor Show.
The report, which comes from our friends at AutoGuide, claims that a production Rocketman is still on the radar of Mini's product chief, Pat McKenna, despite being officially on hold. As Mckenna explained it to AG, "the only way it would happen would be if it was a partnership with another company."
See, the problem is that Mini's current UKL platform, which underpins the new Hardtop along with the future Mini range, is too large for the tiny Rocketman. And since developing new platforms isn't as easy as popping down to the shops for a gallon of milk (nor as cheap), it makes the need for an ally to split the costs a necessity. Success, so far, has been limited.

Mini Clubman Concept isn't mini, isn't a Clubman

Wed, 05 Mar 2014

Hey, remember when Mini was... mini? I know, you've heard all this before. But seriously.
Take this new Mini Clubman Concept, for example. As you'll recall, the current Clubman slots in between the Hardtop and Countryman models in the Mini lineup. But because the new, third-generation Mini has grown, so has everything else. And in fact, the concept car seen here is actually 4.4 inches longer and just over 2 inches wider than the current, already-large Countryman. The future of Mini looks awfully maxi.
Furthermore, the Clubman as we know it uses a weird, five-door layout (two up front, a third, suicide door, and two barn doors out back), but this concept adds a sixth door for a decidedly more conventional layout. Of course, four real doors for passengers sort of takes the uniqueness out of the Clubman package, and essentially makes this thing a not-as-tall, front-wheel-drive Countryman. Totally necessary, right?

Mini apologizes with chocolate rose after spamming customer's inbox

Thu, 31 Jan 2013

If you're a manufacturer, there are only so many ways you can say "sorry" after your automated e-mail system goes berzerk and spams everyone on your mailing list with hundreds of the same message. Mini recently found itself in that very spot, and rather than respond with a sheepish mea culpa, the company's PR team took a different tack by sending owners a very unique gift box. How unique? Inside, one owner found a set of chocolate roses, a roll of duct tape and a genuine can of Spam.
In an accompanying note, the company said it hoped the sweets would help patch things up between the company and the victims of the e-mail barrage, but in the event that wasn't enough to do the trick, the duct tape was there to help out. And the can of Spam? That tagged along just for stress release. Apparently the canned meat is squeezable. We wouldn't know. You can check out full photos of the gift box here.
