YOU ARE BIDDING ON A 2003 BLUE MINI COOPER WITH A BLACK INTERIOR. MY WIFE OWNED THIS CAR FOR 5 YEARS. WE HAD TO REPLACE THE MOTOR AND TRAMSMISSION BECAUSE SHE GOT STUCK IN A HUGE PUDDLE WHEN OUR DEVELOPEMENT GOT FLOODED. THIS WAS ABOUT 3 YEARS AGO. THE MOTOR STILL RUNS REALLY GOOD HOWEVER THE TRANSMISSION NEEDS TO BE REPLACED. THE CAR STILL DRIVES BUT I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND DRIVING. SHE WAS ABLE TO GET THE CAR HOME BY DRIVING IT ABOUT 15 MPH. THE BRAKES IN THE REAR WERE JUST REPLACED ABOUT 50 MILES AGO. THE CALIBERS AND PADS ARE NEW. ALSO THERE ARE 2 NEW TIRES ON THE CAR WITH ABOUT 5000 MILES ON THEM. THE CAR IS REALLY CLEAN INSIDE AND OUT. IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS PLEASE GIVE ME AN EMAIL.

2014 Mini Cooper goes to the dogs
Tue, 17 Dec 2013We wouldn't buy a car to make a dog happy, but Mini's latest commercial, Bullheaded, would have you believe that dogs like the new 2014 Cooper as much as humans. Regardless of the commercial's target audience (Spike The Bulldog, or his owner?), it does show a couple new tidbits about the car, such as the new center dial touchscreen, ambient lighting and the nifty tinted pop-up display on top of the dashboard that reminds us of the head-up display on the new Mazda3.

Get lost in Evo's sublime 2013 Car of the Year testing
Fri, 08 Nov 2013Every year Evo stages its Car of the Year test, bringing the best performance cars in the world to one location for an epic shootout. This year the magazine pitted eight CotY finalists against each other on Route Napoleon in Southern France - Evo claims it's the "best road in the world" - and then proceeded to nitpick the smallest of faults on each car until the winner could be named. You see, this year's lineup of machines was just so good that only one car obviously wasn't CotY material from the get-go. Can you guess which one judging from the list below?

We recently got our first time behind the wheel of the latest iteration of the Mini Countryman, the 215-horsepower John Cooper Works model, and were left less than enthused despite the inherent fun factor that a JCW badge brings. Our time with the crossover suggests the Countryman is just too weighty and soft to properly wear the badge.
We have also spent loads of time in various Mini Clubman trims and, despite the oddity of its configuration, this model may be our overall favorite in the current Mini lineup. But it is decidedly not a volume seller, which Mini needs.
