2008 Mini Clubman. Very clean. Well maintained. Just spent over $2000 at the dealership getting the car in perfect working order. New door ajar sensor, new front brake rotors and pads, changed all brake fluids, new battery, new front wiper blades, fresh oil and filter change, new air filter, new cabin air filter. Roughly 50% on tire wear. Car runs, drives, and shifts great. Paint is very good, however there are small chips on the hood from road debris that have been touched up. Some small paint chips on the rocker panel of the drivers door where the seat belt buckle hits when I've exited the car. All glass is in perfect condition. Everything works, all lights, defrosters, heated seats, AC, Heat, CD player, miniplug I-pod input, moon roof. There are some very minor dings in the rear barn doors hardly visible especially in the picture. Mileage is currently 88,380. That may change slightly if a take a person or two for a test drive.
The interior is in really good shape, the drivers seat has a little wear as seen in the picture. I've always had Mini floor mats since I bought it, carpet is in good shape. couple small spots on the carpet in the back behind the rear seats.
I am the original owner, I have the owners manual, window sticker, original invoice, and maintenance records. Fun to drive and very fuel efficient. I average 34 mpg. I purchased the vehicle from Cincinnati Mini. My son is getting ready to start driving and I want to start him out on an automatic, so I'm selling the mini which is the favorite car I've ever owned.
The vehicle was hit from the rear last year with very slight damage to the rear bumper, I had it repaired by a local body shop, I can notice a slight color difference on the lower bumper following the repair. Certainly no mechanical or frame damage was incurred.
I am located in Tiffin, OH. If you are within a reasonable proximity please come and inspect the vehicle before bidding. If you have zero feed back then please contact me before bidding. Please ask any questions that you have any. This is an excellent vehicle.

Poor headlights cause 40 cars to miss IIHS Top Safety Pick rating
Mon, Aug 6 2018Over the past few months, we've noticed a number of cars and SUVs that have come incredibly close to earning one of the IIHS's highest accolades, the Top Safety Pick rating. They have great crash test scores and solid automatic emergency braking and forward collision warning systems. What trips them up is headlights. That got us wondering, how many vehicles are there that are coming up short because they don't have headlights that meet the organization's criteria for an "Acceptable" or "Good" rating. This is a revision made after 2017, a year in which headlights weren't factored in for this specific award. This is also why why some vehicles, such as the Ford F-150, might have had the award last year, but have lost it for this year. We reached out to someone at IIHS to find out. He responded with the following car models. Depending on how you count, a whopping 40 models crash well enough to receive the rating, but don't get it because their headlights are either "Poor" or "Marginal." We say depending on how you count because the IIHS actual counts truck body styles differently, and the Infiniti Q70 is a special case. Apparently the version of the Q70 that has good headlights doesn't have adequate forward collision prevention technology. And the one that has good forward collision tech doesn't have good enough headlights. We've provided the entire list of vehicles below in alphabetical order. Interestingly, it seems the Volkswagen Group is having the most difficulty providing good headlights with its otherwise safe cars. It had the most models on the list at 9 split between Audi and Volkswagen. GM is next in line with 7 models. It is worth noting again that though these vehicles have subpar headlights and don't quite earn Top Safety Pick awards, that doesn't mean they're unsafe. They all score well enough in crash testing and forward collision prevention that they would get the coveted award if the lights were better.
Next Mini Clubman nearly ready to haul
Tue, Jan 6 2015With the three- and five-door Mini Hardtop models successfully hitting the market and the pending arrival of the hot John Cooper Works model at next week's Detroit Auto Show, Mini can turn its eye toward another important model, in the form of its next-generation Clubman, which our spies have spotted testing on the roads of Germany. Aside from the rear barn doors, the next Clubman looks to have a lot in common with the new five-door Hardtop, which makes sense considering how much the current car has in common with the R56 that it's based upon. That similarity ends quickly once you take a look inside the cabin. The typically open Mini cabin is more dramatically segmented in the new Clubman, with a high transmission tunnel that separates the driver and passenger. In a worrying move for fans of parking lot shenanigans, Mini is moving to an electronic parking brake in its new model, although beyond that, the center stack is similar to the redesign Mini pushed through for this latest generation. As is the case with the current Clubman, the next-gen will likely share its engines and gearboxes with the Hardtop, meaning a base 1.5-liter, three-cylinder turbo in the Cooper Clubman and a 2.0-liter, turbocharged four-cylinder in the Cooper S Clubman. Six-speed transmissions, in both two- and three-pedal varieties, will likely also be offered. Check out our gallery of spy photos of the new Clubman, up at the top of the page.
2014 Mini Cooper goes to the dogs
Tue, 17 Dec 2013We wouldn't buy a car to make a dog happy, but Mini's latest commercial, Bullheaded, would have you believe that dogs like the new 2014 Cooper as much as humans. Regardless of the commercial's target audience (Spike The Bulldog, or his owner?), it does show a couple new tidbits about the car, such as the new center dial touchscreen, ambient lighting and the nifty tinted pop-up display on top of the dashboard that reminds us of the head-up display on the new Mazda3.
Head below to watch Spike and his owner drive the Mini in Downtown Los Angeles (and the back lots of Paramount), and to get a behind-the-scenes look at how the commercial was made.
