You are bidding on a 2003 Mini Cooper S with 96853 miles, Sliding Glass Roof, Leather, 6 speed manual, Heated Seats, Power Windows, Power Locks, Power Mirrors, basically fully load with the exception of Navigation and LSD. There are a few minor door dings and scratches around the car, normal wear and tear. The power locks are not currently working. The car has an upgraded Lightened Flywheel, stage 2 performance clutch, Dinan Exhuast, MSD Coil, Megan Racing Coilovers, Megan Racing adjustable rear links, and Megan Racing tophat front supports. No other modifications were done. The tires are in good condition and i would say have more than 50% left. The only real problem with this car is that the motor failed, cylinder 1 has a whole in it, so it will need a short block. I bought this car from a mini mechanic that had purchased it from a customer that had blown the clutch and cracked the housing on the transmission. Probably should have run, but I thought it would make a great weekend track car. After getting it set up for the track the first run out on the second lap the motor failed. Many great like new parts, put a short block in it and you are good. I have secured a block for $650, I will just need to pick it up. Mini Paceman Adventure photos arrive by the trucklette-load
Fri, 25 Apr 2014Yesterday, we brought you the news of the existence of this Mini Paceman Adventure tiny truck, and the story of how it came to be. Long story short: it was a lighthearted collaboration between apprentices and instructors at parent BMW plants in Germany. The mini-sized pickup bed and off-road kit may not make the Paceman All4 actually practical, but we'd argue that they do make the one-off fairly loveable.
Apparently the Mini photographers agree with that "loveable" part. We'd heard that there were some better, higher-resolution images of the Paceman Adventure on the way, but we didn't expect there to be hundreds of them. But as you can see, the shooters went out and thoroughly documented the pickup, shooting it in several locations, still and moving, and documenting some of its construction as well. Thu, 21 Nov 2013Remember the Mini Rocketman concept from 2011? While we were really, really hoping for a production version - a properly mini Mini - that never happened. And it won't. But what we are getting is a whole lot of that showcar's styling cues applied to the third-generation Mini Cooper hardtop, a model making its debut here at the LA Auto Show. And while from most angles, the new Mini is as cute as ever, we just can't quite warm up to that face - or that huge front overhang. The car simply looks like a frightened goldfish (that yellow paint isn't helping, either).

It should probably be pretty nice to drive, though, with the base Cooper using a new turbocharged 1.5-liter three-cylinder engine good for 134 horsepower and 162 pound-feet of torque. Friskier Cooper S models get a healthy power increase, their 2.0-liter turbo engines putting out a full 189 hp and 207 lb-ft, with both engines are mated to either a six-speed manual or automatic transmission.
Mini teases new Clubman
Wed, Jun 17 2015Mini is expected to expand its refreshed lineup with the reveal of the new Clubman, at the upcoming Frankfurt Motor Show. So to give us something to look forward to, it has released the teaser image you see here. Previewed in concept form in Geneva last year, by the Vision Gran Turismo a few months ago, and by numerous prototypes spied undergoing testing in between, the new Clubman promises to be even longer and more versatile than the previous model. That's due in part to the emergence of the five-door version of the core Mini Hardtop, which already packs more (or at least more-conventional) doors than the previous Clubman. The new one, then, is expected to go with a similar front-hinged door setup, and keep the split rear cargo doors from its predecessor (and the concept) in place of the smaller model's liftgate. The sketch was revealed on a promo page for Mini's "Go With Your Gut" campaign. Dark and sketchy as it is, there's little to be told from the teaser rendering above, but you can just make out a different roof design from the show car and an offset exhaust in place of the concept's center-exit pipes. We'll just have to hold on for a while longer to see the finished product. Related Video:
