A fabulous example of BMC's Mini Cooper, contracted and built by the Italian Leyland Innocenti, Italy.
Beautifully restored it's a driver quality car, not concourse, but shows with impeccable detail and runs as well as it looks.
Right hand drive (Built for the European market), you will note its instrumentation is in Italian and its speedometer in Kilometers. The speedometer currently reads 21,378 Kilometers. We do not know if this is original, however would have to assume it is not given the vintage of the Mini Cooper Innocenti.
Many new parts, too lengthy to list, with a incredible amount of receipts cumulatively in the thousands of dollars, and documentation to back it up, helps to add to its provenance.
This is a "Turn Key" driving Mini which needs absolutely nothing and is ready to enjoy for the Spring and Summer driving Mini enthusiast.
For disclosure purposes, please bear in mind, we reserve the right to end the auction early, given the Mini Cooper Innocenti is for sale locally. Kindly, and please do not ask our reserve. This is a auction.
We furthermore encourage inspection PRIOR to purchase, and not AFTER as a condition of sale. The Mini Cooper Innocenti will be sold "as is, where is" with no warranty expressed or implied.
Last, thanks for the interest and enjoy the pictures. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions. Happy Bidding and best of luck.

New Mini Countryman shows its big bones
Tue, Jan 26 2016The latest crop of Mini models are larger than their predecessors, and these spy shots let us check out the upcoming Countryman, which could be the biggest vehicle from the diminutively named brand yet. This test car drops some camouflage from the previously spied examples, which gives us a much better look at the new design. Up front, the swirling camo panels do nothing to hide the Countryman's broad, mesh grille, and you can easily make out the shape of the oval headlights. These shots offer a clear look at the lower air dam, with round foglights flanking the central intake. At the rear, the Countryman gets Mini's traditional big taillights, and the exhausts poke out from each corner of the bumper. The next-generation Countryman grows longer and wider to increase interior volume, but the crossover rides on BMW's UKL platform like the rest of Mini's latest vehicles. We also anticipate it to share the same choices of three- and four-cylinder turbocharged engines. Like the recently revealed Clubman All4, expect all-wheel drive as an additional option. After the launch of the standard version, which could happen at the Paris Motor Show in October, the brand likely plans to fill out the Countryman range with a performance-oriented John Cooper Works variant and a greener plug-in hybrid model.
Xcar takes the Mini Challenge, and it sounds awesome
Wed, Jan 28 2015The third-generation Mini is well and truly on sale in markets across the world. The new four-door model should be arriving soon, if it isn't already on sale in your neck of the woods, and the latest John Cooper Works model made its official debut just a few weeks ago at the 2015 Detroit Auto Show. We aren't going to be talking about any of those right now, though. That's because our chums at Xcar took it upon themselves to sample the third-generation Mini Challenge racecar, a 275-horsepower, hardcore, fully committed competition version of the otherwise adorable Mini Cooper S. At roughly 30,000 British pounds (about $45,200 at today's rates) there's a lot to like about the Challenge car. Aside from a gutted cabin and aggressive aerodynamic kit, the racer has been fitted with slick tires, a Quaife sequential gearbox, adjustable dampers, Alcon brakes and a consequently lower curb weight – under 2,600 pounds with an average-sized driver. It's fair to say the Challenge driving experience figures to be unlike your typical road-going Mini. And considering that, we think the folks that built the car, Total Track, have fulfilled their promise of delivering a "touring car experience at a fraction of the cost." Have a look at the Xcar video and let us know what you think. Be sure to crank up your speakers, because the Challenge sounds excellent.
2014 Mini John Cooper Works Countryman All4
Fri, 11 Apr 2014The standard Mini Countryman is a bit of an odd duck against the backdrop of 'normal' small crossovers like the Mazda CX-5 and the Ford Escape, but I sort of get it. Apply the same winning Mini formula to a CUV, and you get a smaller-than-average entry in the segment, one that is far more entertaining to drive than the norm, more stylish inside and out and pretty expensive when cross-shopped. That list of qualities doesn't appeal to all crossover shoppers, sure, but it intrigues a big enough list that the Countryman has reason for being.
Now, add the expensive John Cooper Works package to the Countryman's already niche goodies list, and Mini starts to lose me. So, I'm getting the softer suspended, taller, generally less dynamically joyful version of the brand's core values, but now you're charging me at least $35,000 ($13k more expensive than the basic, front-drive Cooper Countryman and $7k more than the MSRP of the Cooper S All4 version)? What's that? You're going to make it look like a garish, tippy-toed tuner car in the process? Take my money.
Or, actually, let me keep it. I can swing with a lot of the weirdness that Mini has to offer, but this car pushed me past my limit.
