YOU ARE BIDDING ON A 1970 MINI COOPER. WE RECIEVED THIS CAR AS A PARTIAL TRADE IN THE CONDITION AS SHOWN. IT APPEARS TO HAVE VERY NICE ORANGE PAINT IN MY OPINION (SEE PHOTOS) NICE CHROME WITH DRIVER QUALITY INTERIOR - DRIVERS SEAT BEING THE WEAKEST PART. NICE SOUND SYSTEM. THIS CAR APPEARS TO BE A FACTORY A/C CAR - THE A/C IS CURRENTLY NOT WORKING BUT APPEARS TO BE INTACT. THE CAR RUNS AND DRIVES, SEE VIDEO LINK BELOW. I DON'T SEE ANY RUST ON THE CAR, THE HEADLIGHTS, BRAKE LIGHTS AND TAIL LIGHTS WORK AS THEY SHOULD. THE TURN SIGNALS DO NOT. I HAVE OWNED IT FOR A FEW MONTHS AND HAVE CLEAR TITLE IN MY NAME. ALTHOUGH IT IS REGISTERED I HAVE ONLY DRIVEN IT LOCALLY WITH NO ISSUES. IT DOES HAVE AN ELECTRICAL POWER DRAW SO, WHEN NOT IN USE WE DISCONNECT THE BATTERY. I DO NOT KNOW A LOT ABOUT THESE CARS SO, ASK ANY QUESTIONS. IT IS A 1300 cc ENGINE. THIS CAR ALWAYS RECIEVES COMPLIMENTS AND ALWAYS DRAWS A CROWD. A GREAT LITTLE CAR FOR LOCAL CAR SHOWS AND A LOT OF FUN TO DRIVE.
TAKE A LOOK AT THE VIDEO LINK BELOW:
THIS VEHICLE IS SOLD AS-IS NO WARRANTIES OR GUARANTEES ALL SALES ARE FINAL SO, IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS PLEASE ASK ME BEFORE YOU BID.
PLEASE REMEMBER BUYER IS FULLY RESPONSIBLE FOR SHIPPING AND/OR COLLECTION FOR THIS VEHICLE. I WILL HELP WHERE POSSIBLE.

Lots of Land Rovers, Jaguars and Minis actually survived that near-capsized ship
Thu, Jan 29 2015Despite a severe list to starboard, many of the 1,400 cars and SUVs aboard the 51,000-ton Hoegh Osaka are currently being recovered in salvageable condition, with video showing some of the vehicles from British brands Land Rover, Jaguar and Mini, being driven ashore under their own power. The car-carrying vessel developed a severe list on January 3 and was intentionally run aground on a sandbar between England and the Isle of Wight. It has since limped its way back to port in Southampton, where damage assessments are being conducted on both the ship and its $53-million in cargo. According to the company that owns the car carrier, the ship itself only suffered minor damage in the incident, while Car and Driver is reporting that many of the damaged vehicles will almost certainly be scrapped. Still, the fact that there are vehicles, some of which appear undamaged (look at that Defender at 0:50!), being removed from the Hoegh Osaka needs to count as a net win. Xcar takes the Mini Challenge, and it sounds awesome
Wed, Jan 28 2015The third-generation Mini is well and truly on sale in markets across the world. The new four-door model should be arriving soon, if it isn't already on sale in your neck of the woods, and the latest John Cooper Works model made its official debut just a few weeks ago at the 2015 Detroit Auto Show. We aren't going to be talking about any of those right now, though. That's because our chums at Xcar took it upon themselves to sample the third-generation Mini Challenge racecar, a 275-horsepower, hardcore, fully committed competition version of the otherwise adorable Mini Cooper S. At roughly 30,000 British pounds (about $45,200 at today's rates) there's a lot to like about the Challenge car. Aside from a gutted cabin and aggressive aerodynamic kit, the racer has been fitted with slick tires, a Quaife sequential gearbox, adjustable dampers, Alcon brakes and a consequently lower curb weight – under 2,600 pounds with an average-sized driver. It's fair to say the Challenge driving experience figures to be unlike your typical road-going Mini. And considering that, we think the folks that built the car, Total Track, have fulfilled their promise of delivering a "touring car experience at a fraction of the cost." Have a look at the Xcar video and let us know what you think. Be sure to crank up your speakers, because the Challenge sounds excellent.
Mini JCW Convertible spied looking cold
Fri, Mar 13 2015The Mini Convertible John Cooper Works has stripped off almost all of the camo it was wearing when we last saw it a few months back. There's not much left to the imagination anymore, and all that remains are some swirls to hide a little of the hood and rear. As expected, the entire front end, rear bumper, central exhausts and subtly flared wheel arches come directly from the JCW take on the two-door Hardtop. Except for the Convertible's repositioned antenna and lowering top, the two models are essentially the same on the outside. With the standard, third-gen Mini droptop not actually unveiled yet, all of the camouflage at the back is likely there to hide the way the roof folds down. Under the hood, expect the latest JCW 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder producing 228 horsepower and 236 pound-feet of torque with a choice of six-speed manual or automatic gearboxes. Of course, the Convertible also adds the thrill of tipping the throttle with the top down. Mini hasn't hinted at a reveal date for the latest Convertible yet. However, these shots suggest development is at a fairly advanced state, so an official debut is likely not too far off. Related Video:
