2009 Mini Cooper S Hatchback 2-door 1.6l on 2040-cars
Rochester, Michigan, United States
2009 R56 Mini Cooper S 1.6L turbocharged I4 172 Horsepower 177 lb.-ft. of torque (Overdrive boosts to 192 lb.-ft. of torque) 6-Speed Manual Pepper White-Black top 49xxx miles. Rated for 31/36 MPG- I’m currently averaging 32 in my work commute.
Cold Weather Package with heated leather seats. Traction control. Auxiliary audio input. Run flat tires. Power folding mirrors. Features Sport mode for quicker throttle response and more accurate steering. Purchased Certified Pre-Owned from Motor City Mini less than a year ago- all regular service done with dealer. Non-Smoker. Clean Title. Small crack on rear bumper (I suspect someone backed into her in a parking lot.)
I love this car to death (Honestly, I’d rather keep it.) and have fanatically maintained it. No aftermarket parts and has never endured a track. It’s solid and quiet on the highway while returning almost 40 mpg. Upright seating position and high roofline give it a bigger on the inside feel. Hatchback with folding rear seats for extra utility. Great in the city and fits everywhere without worry. Got me to work without fail despite record breaking snowfall. For those looking for a performance buy, you won’t find a better bang for your buck. Smooth manual transmission, well-sorted chassis, lots of low end torque, and suspension designed by BMW before they started to go soft. Text me any time, or call me after 5 pm. 248-Five Zero Five-4475 |

Mini Seven Special Edition looks back to the days of Austin
Wed, May 11 2016Mini is back at the game of special editions with the Seven, the first of its kind for the third-generation Hardtop. Named after the original Austin Seven – one of the two original Mini models, alongside the Morris Mini Minor – the new style pack is available on both the two- and four-door and the Cooper and Cooper S models. But where past Mini special editions have been largely homogenous, the new Seven has a surprising array of options, especially as it relates to colors and upholsteries. Owners can choose from four different paint schemes – Lapisluxury Blue (shown above), Pepper White, Midnight Black, and British Racing Green. The options continue in the cabin, where owners can select the Seven-specific Diamond Malt Brown fabric/leather upholstery, or they can go with straight leather in Cross Punch Carbon Black, Lounge Satellite Grey, or MINI Yours Lounge Carbon Black. There are four dash trim options, too, with standard Piano Black, and optional Dark Cottonwood, Fibre Alloy, and Off-White. Below the trim strip, owners can have either a Malt Brown color line or Carbon Black. A set of 17-inch, two-tone alloys are standard, and regardless of which exterior paint you opt for, you're stuck with a Melting Silver roof. The decreasing-width stripes match the roof and have what Mini claims are Malt Brown rules, but we're seeing red trimmings in these photos. Heated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, Comfort Access, a Harmon/Kardon stereo, park-distance control, power-folding, auto-dimming mirrors, and a 6.5-inch Mini Connected system are all standard features as part of the Seven package, while additional options will be available, like on any other Cooper or Cooper S. Mini's press release, for example, specifically calls out the larger 8.8-inch Mini Connected XL and adaptive dampers as available options. Mini will announce prices for the Seven package nearer to its late summer on-sale date. Related Video: This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Mini and John Cooper Works floating hub caps are factory fresh accessories
Fri, Sep 13 2019Much of the allure of a Mini is tied to its iconic style and design. Beyond the legendary shape of the Mini Cooper, the company is heavy into unique details that celebrate the brand's heritage. Features such as Union Jack taillamps scream, "Look, I'm British!" while a new accessory inches even closer to the nose and says, "Look, I'm a Mini!" Literally, these new self-leveling hub caps read, "MINI" or "John Cooper Works." Floating, or self-leveling, hub caps are not new, but they're new to the Mini Original Accessory store. For those who are unaware, these items use weights in the front of the center cap and a "flexible connection to the wheel hub extension" to keep the outermost part of the cap in one position. That position keeps whatever script is written on the cap horizontal and visible to all onlookers. Mini says the standard wheel covers are easily removed and can quickly be changed out for these floating caps. The Mini cap takes uses a simple black background with chrome trim and script while the John Cooper Works caps have a black background, red outline, and silver, black, and red logo in the center. Both options are available for order at Mini dealerships, Mini partners, or at Mini's online shop for about $78 (Mini) or $93 (JCW). Auto News Design/Style MINI Parts and Accessories Performance
2015 Mini Cooper Hardtop officially revealed
Mon, 18 Nov 2013There are occasions in life when something happens in the outside world and I think, "Damn. I wish Dad was here so we could talk about this."
In the past 13 years, that's happened every time Mini unveils a new model. And that's been quite often in the 12 years since the car was reintroduced - it has expanded to include seven different models, which is a testament to how quickly the updated Mini caught on. My Dad, who passed away in 1996, loved the brand. His first car was a Mini, and he'd race it in illegal rallies around the Irish countryside in his 20s, before he emigrated to the US and tried to (mostly) stay on the right side of the law.
Mini released photos and specs for the third-generation "original" hardtop car today. The company had to slap in the term "original" in there to differentiate it from the Convertible, longer-wheelbase Clubman, Countryman crossover, Paceman three-door crossover, Coupe and Roadster. Coming out with that many nameplates in 13 years is unprecedented growth for a company that's essentially brand-new in the US.
