Two very small chips in the windshield, on the passenger side, which have been repaired."

This is my Baby.  I purchased this MINI new from a dealer in Sacramento, CA as the Reno, NV dealer wasn't open yet.  The MINI has always been parked in a garage overnight and only driven in the summer.  All service has been completed at either the Sacramento or Reno dealerships and the records are available.  A set of Konig Feather wheels and an Alta adjustable rear sway bar were added to improve handling and make the steering more neutral.  The factory wheels and the original sway bar are included with the MINI.

An invisible bra, both front and rear, have protected the paint from chips.  Two small chips on the passenger side of the windshield have been repaired.  The chips aren't much bigger than a pin head and there is no cracking.

California legal window tinting was professionally applied about 2 years ago to the side and rear windows.

The options have been listed elsewhere in this listing and a copy of the window sticker is included in the picture section.

The car was purchased as a summer driver to explore the Sierra-Nevada mountains and to visit family and friends in Northern and Southern CA.  It is a great car, plenty of power, superb brakes and gas mileage in the mid-30's....even driving thru the mountains!

Why am I selling it?  My needs have changed and a pickup truck is needed more than the MINI.

The MINI is sold as is and for local pick-up.  However, if the buyer is within a 100 miles or so, I can deliver the MINI.  I will also meet a freight company locally should you decide to ship the MINI.

I can take the MINI to a mechanic of your choosing or the Reno MINI dealership to be examined, at the buyers expense.

Payment can be made by Certified Check or Money Order and the MINI and Title will be available after funds have cleared the bank.

2015 Mini Hardtop 5-Door isn't for the country, man [w/video]

Thu, 02 Oct 2014

We've seen it in super high-res glory, and we can even build one on the automaker's website, but the Paris Motor Show marks the official coming out party for the new Mini Hardtop 4 Door (which is what it's called in the US, despite this Euro car having "5 Door" badging). It's a stretched version of the third-generation Mini Hardtop, but with an extra set of doors for rear seat passengers. Think of it as a more useful Clubman, but with a lower ride height and less rugged-ness than the Countryman. Got it? Good.
Engine options carry over from the normal Mini Hardtop range, with a 1.5-liter turbo-three and a 2.0-liter turbo-four offering 134 and 189 horsepower, respectively. The rest of the car is everything else you know and love from the Mini range, just with a more spacious rear bench. And as you'd expect, there's a nearly endless pallet of customization options.
The Hardtop 4 Door arrives at US dealerships just before the end of the year, commanding a roughly $1,000 premium over its three-door kin. Scope out our new live shots in the gallery above, and take in the extensive press blast, below.

Mini may have overexpanded, some models may not be replaced

Fri, 05 Apr 2013

Surprise, surprise. According to Edmunds, Mini may be looking to reduce the number of vehicles in its range, which has recently expanded to include a total of seven offerings (not to mention the copious varieties of configurations found within each line). When Mini relaunched in the early 2000s, it did so with one model, the Cooper Hardtop, and has since added the Convertible, Clubman, Countryman, Coupe, Roadster and Paceman. It looks like those ambitions of expanding the range to include up to 10 models may have been a bit optimistic.
"When we start to replace models, I think you will see that we won't replace every model exactly," Jim McDowell, Vice President of Mini USA, told Edmunds in an interview. The brand's core models right now are the Hardtop and Countryman, and of the roughly 66,200 vehicles that Mini sold in the United States last year, these two vehicles accounted for some 75 percent of total sales.
McDowell declined to mention any specific models that may not be replaced in the lineup's next generation, though our best guess is that ultra-niche vehicles like the Coupe (pictured) or Clubman. As for replacing some of the current models with new products, the only clear gap we can see in the brand's lineup is a smaller car like the Rocketman concept, though we've been told several times that a mini-Mini isn't going to happen. Be sure to let us know what Mini models you'd like to see kept or axed in Comments below.

Mini and John Cooper Works floating hub caps are factory fresh accessories

Fri, Sep 13 2019

Much of the allure of a Mini is tied to its iconic style and design. Beyond the legendary shape of the Mini Cooper, the company is heavy into unique details that celebrate the brand's heritage. Features such as Union Jack taillamps scream, "Look, I'm British!" while a new accessory inches even closer to the nose and says, "Look, I'm a Mini!" Literally, these new self-leveling hub caps read, "MINI" or "John Cooper Works."  Floating, or self-leveling, hub caps are not new, but they're new to the Mini Original Accessory store. For those who are unaware, these items use weights in the front of the center cap and a "flexible connection to the wheel hub extension" to keep the outermost part of the cap in one position. That position keeps whatever script is written on the cap horizontal and visible to all onlookers.  Mini says the standard wheel covers are easily removed and can quickly be changed out for these floating caps. The Mini cap takes uses a simple black background with chrome trim and script while the John Cooper Works caps have a black background, red outline, and silver, black, and red logo in the center. Both options are available for order at Mini dealerships, Mini partners, or at Mini's online shop for about $78 (Mini) or $93 (JCW). Auto News Design/Style MINI Parts and Accessories Performance
