2010 MINI CLUBMAN only 27,000 miles!!! 35+ miles per gallon!!!!!
I purchased this car as a wreck to be fixed for my wife. It has a Georgia salvage title, not a flood title. In process of the purchased it was flooded. It was never turned on or started. I have since fixed the ‘wrecked” part, new fender, hood, headlights, radiator, condenser. I have purchased a few electronic components to replace, but fixing electrical systems it is not my thing and I do not want to take it to the dealer for their “unlimited” budget for repairs. The motor and transmission spin freely and never had any water in the oils. To start the car you need a good anti-theft module (replacement one included), body control module (replacement one included), ignition button w/key (replacement one included). Other replacement parts I have purchased are drivers airbag, airbag computer, seat belt retractor, accelerator pedal, rear door latch, fuse box, HVAC control module, replacement door lock with key, steering wheel.
If you are good with electrical systems on cars – this is the deal for you. I need to get a vehicle for my wife so I will sell this cheap!!!!! I can help with shipping when they come to pick up the vehicle.
Originally this car cost over $25,000, Kelly Blue Book (KBB) retail price is over $16,500,. Used MINI's usually sell for over their KBB prices and retail their value. To buy for $8,300 – 616-826-0173 |

Mini would still like to make a standalone sports car
Mon, Feb 3 2020The head-turning Superleggera Vision concept Mini unveiled in 2014 will remain a one-off model, but the BMW-owned company affirmed it still has its sights set on a standalone, range-topping sports car. It's understandably not a priority, and there's a chance it won't arrive with a turbo four if it receives the green light for production. Mini's current flagship is the limited-edition John Cooper Works GP, a 301-horsepower hot hatch that sounds as angry as it looks. It's based on the Hardtop, but there's space in the Mini range for an even more hardcore sports car that's not built on an existing architecture. Andreas Lampka, the head of the company's communications department, shared what's on his team's wish list while talking to Australian website Motoring. "If we give our engineers some more spare [time and resources], they'll come up with a mid-engined car," he explained. If launched, it would stand out as the first series-produced mid-engined model in the Mini's 61-year history; every single Mini-badged car built has been front-wheel drive, and we doubt engineers are giving the mid-engined layout a lustful look just to channel the power back to the front wheels. It'd likely be rear-wheel drive. Lampka suggested a range-topping sports car could arrive with an electric powertrain, like the Superleggera Vision (pictured), rather than with an evolution of a gasoline-powered engine currently found in the company's arsenal. While a head-spinning, instant torque-fueled zero-to-60-mph time is difficult to argue against, the executive didn't explain how engineers will offset the weight added by the battery pack. It's too early to provide concrete details. Though this is pure speculation, it could share parts with future electrified JCW models. Similarly, there's no word on when we might see Mini's halo model. The company has more pressing issues to solve; global sales fell by 4.1% in 2019, and executives recently confirmed they've delayed the next-generation Hardtop. If the model does arrive, we don't expect to see it until about halfway through the 2020s at the earliest. Mini pokes fun at Anthony Weiner using fake Twitter account
Sun, 28 Jul 2013Mini, never one to pass on a marketing opportunity, has pounced on the plight of embattled New York City mayoral candidate Anthony Weiner, who seems to have an issue with sending pictures of his genitals to young women. Observers will notice that this is the second time the unfortunately named Mr. Weiner has been in the spotlight for his picture messages.
Capitalizing on Weiner's alias, Carlos Danger, Mini has created an account on Twitter - @CarlosDMotor. With a note on the profile page listing "Danger" as the account's middle name, it's sent out just one tweet, containing the message, "Wanna get your hands on my stick?" Attached to the Tweet is a scantily clad Mini Cooper S, with a towel around its "waist" snapping a picture. Too soon? To borrow the brilliant pun from AdWeek, the "auto erotica" was the idea of Mini's marketing agency Butler, Shine, Stern & Partners. Click below for the full tweet.
The original Mini Cooper still has universal appeal
Wed, 10 Sep 2014It sold over five million units. It was voted the second most influential car of the last century, bested only by the pioneering Ford Model T. It counted among its owners Steve McQueen, Enzo Ferrari and Peter Sellers. It is the classic Mini.
The tiny, two-box, four-seat hatch is an automotive icon of the first order and it's high time it featured in an episode of Petrolicious. Of course, the video gurus did it right, filming this handsome 1971 Mini, which has been modified to accommodate the 1,275-cc four-cylinder from the Mini Cooper S of the time.
Its owner, Sumner Norman, describes life with his right-hand-drive, UK-spec Mini. Naturally, he points out some of the idiosyncrasies inherent with a car built under the guise of British Leyland, including some of well known reliability woes, which he says is the car "going British." Mostly, though, he just seems to have a good time with the little hatch.
