I bought this TD from an estate in New Hampshire. Last registration in 2012. Thought it would be a good project for a 70 yr. old. It is a very solid car with good wood and no rust. I think it is a older restoration. Not much paper work but some show it was on the road in 1985 and 2003 and last tag 2012. Speedo shows 62000 miles hard to believe on a 60 year old car but it really is very solid and well cared for. That's why I bought it. Everything works except the clock and volt meter red charge lite does work. The wheel cylinders were leaking so I bought a Moss complete cylinder kit and shoes for front & rear. I have replaced the rear cylinder & brakes and used Castrol silicone brake fluid in the whole system. Front brakes are ok and I have the new shoes and cylinders for them. I also checked all the fluids trans rear end and they are clear and full with on leaks. I removed the valve cover to take a look at the engine and it was clean as can be. Changed the oil & filter used Valvoline VR1 racing oil 20w50 it is a high Zink formula for flat tappet engines recommended for the TD. Changed the plugs and flushed the fuel system also replaced the fuel pump filter and cleaned carb filters. It is now running great on 90 octane ethanol-free gas. The wheel cylinders leak did damage to the paint on the wheels so I had all 5 wheels powder coated and added a new set of 165/80R15 radial tubs & tires to make it a great week end driver. It also has a new battery, new set of Whitworth wrenches and a MG TD workshop manual cd . I have cleaned the leather and carpet and they almost look new. The paint shows it's age small nicks and scratches but cleaned up looks good. It also has a tan tonneau cover not in pics. This is a project I bought to enjoy working on so I have not changed the paper work to my name not to pay state fees. I have the bill of sale and paper work from the estate. Feel free to ask questions. Cheers, Dave
