Up for auction and selling this week is a 1977 MGB roadster ( does NOT have overdrive ). The car is showing 48,575 miles on the odometer but I can not verify these to be correct so the car is being sold as "mileage exempt". I got this car with the intention of turning it into a racer, but I have to many projects and it needs to go. The car comes with many high dollar accessories and is priced to sell. The exterior of the car looks good for a driver but I would plan on a paint job at some point ( I'm sure a good bluff and wax would greatly improve the cars appearance ). Very straight body and nice looking bumpers. Nice high end chrome luaggage rack. The top is in good overall condition with no visible rips or tears.The suspension is very good and the car sits evenly and squarely on the ground ( see photos ) and has none of the dreaded MG squatting or leaning. Looks to have very solid floor pans and frame. New plugs, new ignition wires and oil. I have only driven the car around our subdivision and drives OK but to start and idle further tweaking, tuning and fiddling will be needed to make it perfect.The things I see it needs are: rear muffler is loose so the car is a bit loud at this time, one of the electrical fans makes noise and should be replaced, carburetor needs fine tuning, Needs a dash wiper light switch, the brakes are a bit spongy and the will need to be bled out. The previous owner stated a full engine rebuild. The interior is in fair condition as seen in the photos and had new carpet installed last year. The car has a working AM / FM radio with 8 track player ( don't know if the 8 track plays ). The dash top is cracked and needs to be replaced. All glass is in good condition. The body is very straight however the rear deck lid had work done to it ( poor job at best ) and should be replaced (I have an extra trunk lid that I will include). The car comes with some very nice original accessories including: Original Tonneau cover, original Tonneau Cover Bows and Horsehair Stowage bag, wire wheels on car are over $2000 when new, they do need some work but still look good. All of these items could be easily sold on E-bay for big bucks thus really off setting the cost of the car if your on a budget. Again, this car does need work but is priced for a quick sale this week. It is not my intention to miss lead anyone and if I have missed anything the car needs it is not on purpose so please ask as many questions as you need prior to bidding. I have a clear NC title in hand.

I don't want any one to be disappointed with the car so please ask any and all questions prior to bidding. I'm not a mechanic or a dealer and would highly encourage all that are interested to come see and drive the car as I don't want the winning bidder to be disappointed when they get the car and say well I did not know about that or I thought it was a show car ( price reflects condition ). To be clear again this is not a show car. The auction is the sell the car not win and then decide so have your funds ready by auctions end. I reserve the right to end auction if I get an offer over the starting price. If you don't want to wait till auctions end make me an offer over the starting price and maybe we can make a deal.
