No Rust, Runs Great! on 2040-cars

Up for sale is a 1972 MG B GT. Yes, that is a 1973 grill because it is my personal preference. The best part of this car is that it is rust free. No rust. NONE! I did weld a small patch under the right seat slider, but other than that it has its original, rust free floors, rockers, sills, lower front fenders, etc. When was the last time you saw a 42 year old MG with no rust? Of equal importance, it runs like a champ! Starts on the first twist of the key and pulls strong in all gears of it‘s non overdrive transmission. It has good oil pressure at all temps, runs cool, no smoke, leaks or drips. Good compression in all cylinders. Fresh coolant. As of this past August it has rebuilt brake calipers and rear wheel cylinders, new pads and shoes, new braided stainless brake hoses, and a new master cylinder. New inner and outer wheel bearings and seals. New steering rack boots just installed. Clutch master cylinder is recent and the slave cylinder has been rebuilt. It has polyurethane front bushings. Tires, battery and exhaust are all in very good condition. Everything works. All gauges, switches, interior and exterior lights work as they should, even the courtesy lamp, dome lamp, rear defrost, etc. The ignition switch is sometimes stiff, but never fails to turn. This is not a show car, but it is a great running, solid and presentable driver. The paint is a 10 footer, the bumper chrome is dull and lightly pitted, the grill has some dings and it could use a little TLC. If you are really fussy, the shifter boot could use replacement and it could use a latch repair kit for the console. I purchased it without a rear seat and I never saw the need for one. There is a good spare tire, but no jack or lug wrench. Other than that, I can’t think of anything this car needs. It has been ultra reliable for me, and is ready to drive anywhere, anytime.
