Up for auction is a 1976 MGB in what I would call a"nice driver ". The car has had much work done and looks nice. I'm selling this car and will be listing my 1972 MGB ( with a hard top and cloth soft top ) this week to help fund another project I have going.

Mechanicals: The car runs and drivers out very nicely with no know issues and starts right up with just a touch of the key. The car starts right up with no smoke, noises, ticks or shacking about. The car holds very good oil pressure and does not over heat ( see photos ). The engine is very tight with no fluid leaks or drips under the car that I have seen. The transmission shift very well. The car will reverse up an incline with no issues and does not pop out of gear. The clutch peddle is strong as are the brakes. I would not hesitate to drive this car any distance. The car was just serviced with new points, plugs, ignition wires, oil change, valve adjustment, coolant fluid changed and a new battery installed. Also, the radiator, fan belt and alternator where replaced last year as well.

Electrical's: This area looks very solid ( no Lucas "gremlins" ). The head lights work ( high beam and low beam ), wipers work, blower fan works, brake lights work, front and rear directional lights work, front and rear running lights work, dash gauge lights work, dash light dimmer switch works, license plate lights work, reverse lights work, map light / courtesy light works, horn works and the hazard switch works.

Gauges: All gauges are correct "Smith" brand and all are in proper working order at this time.

Interior: The interior is overall very good condition ( see photos ). It has a very nice dash, good serviceable carpet, new MG logo rubber floor mats and new sun visors and a like new steering wheel.

Exterior: The exterior is in what I call "driver quality" condition. The car sits evenly and squarely on the ground and has no signs of sagging or the dreaded "MG left leaning" issues. The panel fit and gap fit is very nice ( see photos ) All glass is original "Triplex" and they are clear and cloud free. Solid and damage free jack points. New chrome wheel trim rings just installed.

Soft Top: The soft while it will keep you dry it should be replaced in my opinion. Now don't fret the car comes with a very nice high quality soft top new which is NEW in the box. The new soft top features: Factory style side window flaps, Zip out rear window, Heat-Sealed seams as original, All Pre-installed fasteners and snaps. No sewing required, just installation and comes with easy to follow instructions.

Trunk: IS very solid and has had a carpet kit installed, spare tire and original jack.

Underbody: This area looks very good and all original. I have underbody and floor pan photos are available upon request so please let me know if you wish to see them.

Extra Photos: I some 70 extra photos of the car detailing nearly every inch of the car including the underbody. If you have real interest in the car please send me an email and I'll get them right over to you. I will need to send you 3 emails as the photo file is HUGE.
