My third back surgery has left me with a condition that makes driving my MG very difficult and I need to replace it with a larger vehicle, like a small SUV that will serve me better.

This is an all original Florida MG that never has had any rust and always has been garaged. The factory welds that show around the fenders, doors and rocker panels are testimony of the originality of this car. The paint is excellent and shines nicely. It does not need any paint work or repair. (remember, it is only original once!)

The interior is also original and is in excellent condition as can be seen in the pictures. The only changes to the interior has been a premium carpet replacement kit, including trunk and a sound deadening installation. Also, I had a manual lumbar support installed several years ago to address my back issues. The door panels and dash show as new which provides for a total interior that needs nothing. A new top of factory standards was installed two years ago which has seen very little use as it is usually down in sunny Florida.

I have upgraded this car to meet the needs of highway driving. The wire wheels were sent to Weir Wheel Works in NC where they tuned the spokes, installed new tires and shaved them to allow for highway speeds. The car goes down the road at these speeds as smooth as silk, without shake or shimmy as often found with wire wheels. It is truly a pleasure to drive on the interstate.

I have also made mechanical improvements to allow for the demands of current highway driving speeds. An overdrive transmission was prepared by Quantumechanics of Manroe, CT, a known quality shop for English sports cars, and installed to factory specs. Twin SU's were installed to improve carburation and electronic ignition placed to improve fire power. These additions has giving this car all the performance needed for both in-town and interstate driving. It is truly a pleasure to drive in any of these conditions.

It would be hard to find a nicer MG of this quality. It is a thoroughbred by most anyone's standards, fun to drive and fun to own. It needs nothing-just fire it up and have fun in the sun.
