1973 MGB Roadster project car. This car belongs to a long time MGB enthusiast and was intended to be his second full restoration, but personal circumstances mean it needs to go quickly. This is a great project for someone looking to build a chrome-bumper B to their specification, build a racing car, a V8 or Miata-powered hot rod or even sell off the bits for parts. The value of just the basic components will far exceed the purchase price!

Body Shell:

Rust free and correctly repaired!
Most panels epoxy primed
Minimal filler
Rockers replaced, shell braced and doors properly fitted to ensure the shell did not sag
Floor panels trimmed and roughed in, but require finish fitting and welding
Subframe solid and clean
Trunk floor is bare metal with slight surface rust, can be primed or treated before delivery

Good hood requiring minor repairs on the leading edge

While this car is largely complete, we do not make any guarantees that every single item is present and/or will not need replacement or reconditioning. But given the value of some MG parts these days and the costs of repairing these body shells correctly, you will save thousands over buying an assembled rust-bucket. Replacement fenders alone are $800 each new, so buy your "B" in kit form and save!

This car was originally dark red with a navy blue interior. We have a complete new navy blue interior kit from Moss which will be sold separately. It is no longer available from Moss, so if you're interested in a concours restoration, let us know and we'll work out a deal for you!

Local pickup from Lehigh Valley, PA is recommended. Bring a trailer or a suitable car transport with room for bits and pieces.
