This is a '76 MGB in running/driving condition. Car is in good shape with new paint, a decent interior and a fair top. Not a show car, but a fun driver. The car has a Weber conversion, so is easy starting and driving. The car has a new water pump, alternator, fan belt, hoses, temperature sender, valve adjustment, new valve cover gasket, fresh oil change with filter on engine, transmission fluid is new, rear differential oil is also new as well as fresh coolant. All the electrical has been chased through and is working. Brakes work well and the clutch is working as it should. The paint has a little bit of trash in it and a run, but a color sand and buff should be all it needs to finish it. Looks good from 10 feet away. The interior is in good shape, carpet has a little wear.

The odometer shows 45K miles, but I don't know the actual miles on the car whether its 45K or 145K.

There is no rational justification for buying this car so you'll need to stretch the truth. For example, if you are a one car household you could say its the second car for commuting to a nearby employer or getting groceries. You and I both know that your employer does not look favorably on iconoclasts in tiny cars who arrive late and blame dodgy Lucas electrics. We also know that this is the wrong car for trips to Costco, but its all about the significant other at this point. You can call it an economy car as its a 1800 cc 4-cylinder car that weighs about as much as a full dress Harley Davidson so your nose won't go all Pinocchio on this point. You could also point out that you've upped your life insurance to a cool $1 million and this car doesn't have air bags and sits at the height of a big rigs lug nuts. Think outside the box. You can do it! Working together we are a team.
