This roadster is mechanically strong and in great running condition.  It has an almost new interior with excellent seats and carpets.  The body is in good condition, with some stone chips and dings that come with a car that's 40 years old.  The sills, rockers and floorpans have no rust and are in excellent condition.  Compression is good on all four cylinders and the car has good oil pressure, even after running on the highway for extended periods.  The SU carbs have been replaced with a more reliable Weber, and the two 6 volt batteries have been converted to a single 12 volt for reliability and ease of replacement.  The clutch was replaced approximately 2000 miles ago and ignition system has been thoroughly gone over, to include new plugs and wires, and all new parts in the distributor.
