This Low mileage original 1970 MGB is the rare and sought after Split Bumper model which was just built for one year. I bought this car from a long time owner who had gone over the car from stem to stern to make sure it was very drivable and not the usual somewhat tired example. While he started with a low mileage sound car, he replaced or rebuilt much in the past few years. It received a full brake rebuild with all new master cylinders, brake cylinders, hoses, shoes, pads etc. Clutch hydraulics were replaced as well. The wheels were refinished and fitted with new chrome knock offs. Consequently, it runs and drives well and feels tight.   The top was also replaced with a new Robbins black top and is still in like new shape. It has its original half tonneau cover too and the factory jack and tonneau bars in their original bag. It has been fitted with the more traditional looking mgb grill from a 1969 and back mgb, but comes with the orignal 1970 style recessed black grill which is in great shape.

The exterior is in great shape. The paint was redone along with the rest of the car, but is still in great shape. There are no signifigant scratches, dents or paint damage. This car has never been rusty and has no rust bubbles, patches or welding done that I can see anywhere.

The interior is mostly original and still in great shape. I did have the carpet replaces as it was just tired and starting to look a bit ratty. The original interior has held up extremely well and shows how well the car has been taken care of and garaged.

Overall, this is a great original refurbished MGB that is ready to use. While not perfect, it is cosmetically nice and seems to be mechanically well sorted. A good driver that is ready to use.
