This MGB is the best of classic British motoring and American style hot rod. It has charm and pep at same time. A young boy trying to impress his female companions told them "I know that car, that's a Cobra".It does sort of look like one. About 6 years ago this car was restored with a 1971 Ford Capri 2.6L V6 engine, new wire wheels ($2000 value) and roll bar. I added side pipes later. I had a new clutch put in over the winter. The mechanic said it is peppier that the Sunbeam Tiger he works on.The top is in great shape but not currently on. It conflicts with the roll bar, it's either or. The interior is in great shape, no cracks or tears anywhere and a Alpine stereo. The only negatives are a paint 'rub' from a garage door. I assume that can be rubbed out. Also minor bubbling at door bottom. I believe some water settled in there when I washed the car. I planned to put a racing stripe complimenting the top stripe over this.
