For your consideration is this fine example of an MGA roadster. The car was taken apart and repainted white then all the parts got stuck in a corner and the car was left for 25 years. When i got the car the family wanted to put it back together but after twenty five years a lot of the car had been seperate from the car. After inspecting the frame and floor it turned out to be a very worthwhile car so i purchased the car. Over two years i put it back together trying to use as much nos parts as i could I have a repair business for twenty five years so i had a lot of nos parts that helped the project along. After completing the car this summer and roading it I was not disappointed its a fine running driving car with lots of good times left in it. It needs about 5to8 hundred dollars worth of touch up to be perfect chipped here and there. The tranny seems to have a second speed syncro not up to the high standard of the rest of the car so we will throw in another gear box just in case this one becomes an issue later on. It also came with what appears to be a factory hard top it has the original j hooks that you cant find any more this also goes with it. Its had a rug kit from moss put in it but the seats and dash are original and cleaned like new.Motor is a18v with newer carbs and starts and runs very smooth with no smoke drags the car down the road as fast as need be.All the brake clutch work has been done and even the lights and horns work with lucas you are always amazed. Its a fine old car and would be a great addition for an entry level collector or someone that wants to enjoy driving one that actually will drive anytime you want to go out. New top side curtains and rubber solid and ready to drive. Low reserve. The large touring cars ar getting very hard to find. I purchased the car from a superior court judge who was a customer of mine for twenty five years he purchased it for his son who was a county sheriff it sat for many years in my storage building on a cement floor so unlike many of them this one is very solid all original car.
