Classic British Sports Car on 2040-cars
Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada
The beautiful MGA was introduced in 1955 with a streamlined body and superseded the old T-Series models. The new MG could crack 100mph and is considered by many today to be the company's best model, with its nice build quality and excellent road manners. This desirable 1600 Mark II roadster offered for auction here is regarded as the best of the bunch. It is the last model to be produced and offers the most horsepower, disc brakes and a taller rear axle ratio for highway driving. It is sold with its BMIHT Certificate attesting to its original color of Chariot Red with beige trim and top. Past restoration work includes a repaint, new chrome, retrimmed interior, top, new tires, fitted luggage rack and detailed engine compartment. It is fitted with its correct 1,622cc engine and a recent tune-up ensures that it is running and driving well. With a production run of only 8,198 Mark II roadsters, this very pretty and delightful example offers good investment potential. It is sold with its BMIHT Certificate, top, original handcrank, and lug wrench. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to email me. Neil
