We are selling an MG Midget body and complete suspension. This is a rolling chassis without a drive line installed. The engine that came with the car was siezed due to a head gasket leak that was never addressed and left for many years without attention. The transmission that came with the car is equally questionable. We have reclaimed, used 1275 and 1098 engines as well a several rib case transmissions and will include one of each with the car.....your choice. (Engine and trans will be as you find them; no warranty implied or expressed). The body on this car is as good as any we have seen, with solid floors, sills and sub frame. One fender is "iffy" at best, all other body panels are serviceable and very little repair will be required to put the body in paintable condition. The dash and instruments are still in the car but instrument condition is unknown. There were no interior trim, no exterior trim pieces that were with this car when we acquired it. What you see is what you get. This Midget body style is very desireable because of the round wheel arch and is very appealing to vintage racers looking for a chassis to build on. (We have pictures of similar cars we have built up as vintage race cars). This is also a perfect candidate for moving over parts from another Midget that has a completely rusted out shell, or someone looking for a good base line project car to build up. We do have a clear title for this car and it being sold as is where is and can easily be trailered.
