Up for Auction is a 1979 MG Midget. California model that has had the emission controls removed. As it's from Cali, there is no rust. This car is solid.

It's by no ways perfect, but it is what I call a presentable runner.

Turns heads every time she goes out.

Has had a bumperless conversion, so looks older than she actually is. I think it looks pretty cool.

She would benefit from a re-spray but I wouldn't bother until your good and ready.

Engine is strong, transmission is great, moves through gears smoothly. Speedo does not work, the problem is at the transmission end. I use my speedo iphone app.

It does need a temperature sender and gas tank sender, not expensive for these cars. Brakes would also benefit from for a new master cylinder. There are no fluid leaks on the brakes,

but you do have to pump them occasionally.

This car has the potential to be outstanding.
