The engine was rebuilt before we purchased this gem about 10 years ago and we put about 1000 miles on it the first 7 years. My son and wife do not like getting in and out of it and now it has been sitting though I run it occasionally. I also put on a electric fuel pump and a new master cylinder for the brakes . This car could be really nice and those that are restored bring a nice 5 figures, but really, buy this because you are a British Motorcar enthusiast and have always wanted to own the 2 seater top down roadster and , going out on a warm evening to the back roads with your favorite other with the wind in your hair is how you always wanted to relax. These cars are getting more expensive as is all cars. Every conceivable body and mechanical and interior part is available for this Midget. There are plenty catalogs with these parts available , such as Victoria's MG and Austin Healey catalog. What is exceptional is that we have the removable hard top with this one---very hard to find. So you have your choice of soft top, tonneau and hard top. Purchase this motorcar and fix the rust and the windshield, spruce the interior, do maintenance under the hood, repaint, and you will have a world-class roadster---that work makes it yours and gives you bragging rights.
