Here is a very nice example of a 1971 MG Midget. The car is beautiful and shows the prior owners pride of ownership. The car has been thoughtfully restored with a beautiful BRG paint re-spray and engine bay detail and restoration, while keeping the interior absolutely original.

The engine, suspension, tires, wheels, electrics etc. are all very well sorted and in excellent condition. The engine turns over and starts quickly and easily. The detailed, original twin SU carbs are tuned to perfection. The car runs GREAT. The "ribcase" gearbox was a weak point on the Sprite and Midgets, and this car is no exception. The box on this Midget needs attention. The car is drivable as is, if you start in second gear. Due to the cars light weight, this is easy and not too hard on the clutch. See the video. A little trim work, and gearbox work and this car could easily win shows and give you a lot of pleasure.
