This is a 1950 MG TD in need of restoration. It seems to be solid, it runs and many of the parts needed for restoration are included. Some new, some used. I have owned the car for about a year and bought the car just because I've always wanted one. Three weeks after buying the car I got assigned to go to Europe and the except for starting it up on my infrequent trips home the car hasn't been touched. I'm not a gearhead but I'll tell you everything I possibly can about the car. I have only driven the car around our addition and it drove ok to me but it does jump out of first gear and doesn't seem to be charging. It had brakes when I bought it but now it has none so I use the hand brake when I do move it. A master cylinder rebuild kit is inc. as a friend suggested that would fix it. The fenders on the car were bobbed by someone in the past and the running boards removed. Two used front fenders, two used running boards and four rear fenders are included although two of the rear fenders are in poor condition. The seats are nice, the floorboard solid, the dash needs at least a good cleaning and e new carpet kit is included. The convertible top is there, with no major flaws. The back window is not clear. The steering wheel also needs to be replaced or restored. New hub caps, new bumpers and bullets, new carpet are all included including many mechanical parts that came with the car when I bought it. That's all I know but I will be happy to field any and all questions. A $500 deposit is required within 3 days of the end of the sale and the total balance is due within 7 days of end of sale.
