Up for auction is a 1977 MGB in nice driver condition. I'm selling the car for a friend of mine and the car is located at his home in Charlotte NC 28209. He bought two MGB's at the same time and now wishes to sell this one. The car just had a major service done on the mechanicals costing nearly $1000.

Mechanicals: The car runs and drivers out very nicely. The engine starts right up with no smoke, rattles or ticks. The car holds about 60 - 65 lbs. oil pressure when warm at idle. The transmission works well with no noises and shifts up / down through all the gears with no issues. The car will reverse up an incline with no issues and does not pop out of gear. The clutch peddle is strong as are the brakes. The hand brake works very well. The car was just serviced with new plugs, rotor button, New coil, new alternator, new fan belt, new fuel pump, new inline fuel filter, oil change, the coolant was drained / flushed and new coolant added and the carburetor was adjusted. The car has 4 near new matching radial tires and the car drives and handles very well on the road. All 3 wipers blades where just replaced and a NEW battery was installed.

Electrical's: This area looks very solid. All gauges appear to be in proper working order. The head lights work, wipers work, blower fan works, brake lights work, rear directional lights work, running lights work, back up lights work, map / courtesy light works, horn works and the license plate lights work.

Interior: The interior is of good driver quality ( see photos ). It has very nice seats, door panels and door caps. Good serviceable carpet. All glass is original Triplex and is scratch and cloud free. The dash is in overall good shape but does have the usual crack in the top middle of the dash ( does not show up well in the photos ).

Exterior: The paint is of good driver quality but would look much better in my opinion if was buffed out. The car sits nicely on the ground with no sagging or leaning issues ( see photos ). The rockers, dog legs, floors and frame look great with not rust that I found. The top is in good serviceable condition as seen in the photos. Again, near new tires!

Misc: The car does NOT have a top cover, no tonneau cover or jack.
