Up for auction are two 1979 mgbs. One has overdrive, the other does not. I had every intention of restoring this car, but unfortunately my work has the higher priority.

 

Let me try to explain both of these cars. The yellow 79 has a clear FL title, runs and drives fine. I have replaced the brake master and both rear wheel cylinders, as well as the brake shoes and pads. The original floor pans had some rust so I purchased right and left new, and had them fitted to the car, but not welded as it would need a few patches up front.  I did not want to weld untill everything was fitted,  I have had no time. Most of the parts that I removed are here, but things like the top and seats will need to be replaced. The hood and the trunk for this car are not here, but both doors are!

 

The blue 79 is a complete parts car, which runs and drives fine, however the gas tank has a leak so I have the fuel pump connected to a gas can so that i can move it around. This car was purchased with the intention of using for parts. It has no title. This car was originally white, and is all there. It has the upgraded manifold and carb, and has the electronic overdrive. I can drive this car up and down my street no problem! These would make a great restoration project for the right person who has the time to spend on them.
