Up for sale is my 1979 MGB project. I started this project in 2005 and got sidetracket on another project, I now find that I am not able to complete it due to age and health.The car ran and had good compression before being taken apart. There was a crack in the intake manifold so we removed it and the single Stromberg carb and replaced it with a dual carb SU setup and manifold.All the bodywork and paint were done by a licensed body shop. This was a 2 stage paint job,Base coat/clear coat. We used PPG paint and ppg paint code is 4798. This was a paint used on a 97 Corvette. The GM paint code is WA128A.
Included in the sale are most of the parts to complete this project. I have approx $5500 invested at this time. $3000 in paint and body work. $2000 in new parts. $700 cost of the car.
