1973 Mg Mgb 1.8l on 2040-cars
San Carlos, California, United States
1973, the desirable chrome bumpered MGB. I am the third owner of this 41 year old English Racing Green MGB. I bought the car from an older gentlemen who could no longer use the car due to physical limitations and he acquired the vehicle from and MG mechanic who owned an English vehicle repair shop. He is credible for the improvements and restorations that brought the car to it’s present condition. Everything on the car looks original but the radio which was upgraded to a unit that has a CD player with several speakers. Nardi woodgrain steering wheel (Original steering wheel will be included in sale) and also the wheels were upgraded to the best fitted original brand new Rota-RB set (as seen in pictures.) Also, the front grille is brand new and is of metal and chrome material (not plastic.) The car runs good and shifts well, I have driven other MGB’s however comparing this vehicle to those in it’s class, this one feels much stronger and smoother. There have been many improvements including brakes and the clutch system. It’s visible in the pictures that most mechanical parts have been upgraded and the muffler from the engine to the tail pipe is new. As far as I know, all lights and electrical parts are functioning and the windows and lenses are crack and chip free (as seen in pictures.) The car is already registered and has 2015 tags and due to it’s age, it’s California SMOG exempt. The windows have been professionally tinted which are easily removable if not desired by new owner. I tried to the best of my knowledge and ability to describe the car correctly, however please see the pictures and ask any and all questions you may have before engaging in bidding. The condition of the sale according to my car collection policy is being offered on an as-is basis. This MGB is a part of my classic car collection which I am downsizing due to relocation to a smaller property with less indoor storage space. Car comes with MGB handbook and original Leyland MG manual as well as a brand new tonneau cover in a special case. Please be noted that the last two vehicles I sold were driven immediately after the sales across the country earning me very reputable and excellent compliments. Thank you and good luck! |
