1972 MGB chrome bumper, British Racing Green, Overdrive

I am the 3^rd owner. This is a mostly original car in British Racing Green with a tan interior, wire wheels, and electronic overdrive that runs great, drives nice, doesn’t rattle and stops as it should. The 4 speed synchromesh shifts smoothly. It has always been garaged and only driven occasionally. Odometer read 51,960 when it broke 5 years ago, it is estimated that the actual mileage is around 60,000 miles. The Wheels are very good, the tires are excellent. The battery has been relocated to the trunk. I have the tonneau cover and top bracket cover but have never put them on. Also have the original jack and covers plus spare wheel and knock off wheel wrench. I have a Coverking Autobody Armour Custom car cover and a separate interior cover. In 2010, Interstate Appraisal Service valued this car at $14,500. Recent improvements include new fuel pump and muffler, oil and filter change, antifreeze replaced as well as transmission and rear differential oil. Valves and Carbs checked and adjusted, spark plugs replaced. It is for sale locally so this listing may end quickly. The car is 41 years old so there is no guarantee or warranty of any kind. There are only a couple of issues, there is some rust on the battery boxes (see photo), the center arm rest leather and lock set needs to be replaced and the windshield washer works but does not squirt. The convertible top is new but has a very small tear.
