1961 MG MGA
1961 Bodywith a 1965 MGB Engine
1978-1980 transmission with electric overdrive
This is a prime example of a driver 1500 cc MGA. It is a 1961 body with a 1965 MGB engine, and a 1978-1980 transmission with electric overdrive. This is very significant enhancement, which is very rare. That addition means this MG has overdrive, and can be driven on the highways in excess of 60 miles per hour. A normal MGA can not do this. Therefore, you get the beautiful styling of the MGA, and still can drive it on the roads of today.

The true mileage is unknown. The odometer shows "06494", however, it's undetermined what that truly is. I am guessing upward, and assuming it is "106,494", but again, it could be much less.
The MG has the hardware in place for the convertible top, and a top "frame" can be included if desired. It is in good shape, however, the material needs to be replaced via one of the MG mail order parts books and installed to the frame.
