This car has been a wonderful driver and now is ready for a new home. We have owned it since 2008 and it ‘runs like a top.’ The engine sounds phenomenal and you will receive many waves, ‘thumbs up’, and horns honking as you drive down the road.

The color is Old-English white, has a beautiful body, and is extremely clean. Everything listed comes with the car. This is not a Concourse car but is a presentable driver and an absolute pleasure to drive and own.

Here is a recap of questions that we have received about the MGA as of Sunday, October 20th. In addition, there is a new photo attached showing the rear of the car.

There is no reserve.

The brakes and master cylinder are absolutely fine. Our MG guru commented on the condition of the brakes when he inspected the car.. The master cylinder was replaced three years ago.

This car has the sebring front valance, and the rear bumper and bumper brackets removed to show the streamlined lines of the body design.   The bumper brackets are included in the purchase.   Also have bumpers but they need re-chromed if someone wants to use them.

The wire wheels are 48 spoke.   5 wheels are included with the car

Top fabric and frame are in good shape.   The driver's side mounting point is in need of repair at the body attachment point.

This is a 5 main, non overdrive MGB transmission.   This is a rebuilt replacement tranny with still ~ 10 months left on the warranty, I believe.   I will have to confirm this on our repair records.   There is also a 1500 MGA transmission that comes with the sale.   I cannot vouch for the condition of this one, as it has never been in our car.   This came from the previous owner.

We do not have the original steering wheel.

The body paint is in good shape and has several small bare spots.
