In the last 3 years engine gone over top to bottom with a reworked head including enlarging ports. SU carbs new shafts and butterfly valves. Transmission complete rebuild as was starter. New paint 2011 old english white. Car has been on blocks for last 2 1/2 years. When I last drove it it pulled like a John Deer, lots of power. Trans smooth and no noise. Chrome was new when I purchased and looks it. Interior carpeting and seat frames need to be addressed.The spare tire is missing however the fifth wire wheel is there. It had a wooden dash and nothing worked I reinstalled the metal dash and installed a new original style turn signal switch. Overall this is a strong running car that needs attention to the finishing details."

This is a very strong running MGA 1600. The transmission has been rebuilt, shifts smoothly and is quiet. The paint is recent and looks great except for a few minor chips. The seat frame runners and seat padding will have to be replaced as will the carpet for a nice clean look. There is no spare tire as the photo shows, there are however a total of five wire wheels all in good shape. The car came to me with a wooden "Moss Motors" dash that I have replaced with the original metal one. I still have the wooden one. The windshield wipers are inop as they are not installed. I have a working motor and trans as well as the drive shaft and wiper motor mounting bracket. There is a new (orig. style) turn signal switch. The gauges all seem to work as designed showing very good oil pressure and water temp. Clutch plate and disc are new when trans was rebuilt. The head has been reworked, the ports have been enlarged but not polished. I love this little car as I had one as a young man...at 72 it just got too hard to get in and out of.
