This is a very nice Sable in excellent condition including four new tires. This car runs and drives very smoothly. The paint is excellent and the interior has no flaws. I only sell cars on this site, so you don't have to search my feedback for someone who bought a car from me. Every feedback from a buyer is for a car like this one. No exceptions. Like all my cars, this one has been checked over and it needs nothing. If you are in this price range I don't think you will find a nicer car. I don't buy trade -ins. People usually get rid of them because they were having problems. I like to buy from insurance companies and charities. After ten years on ebay motors, and 38 years in business I received a negative feedback. I sold an individual named Skip Bell a nice Taurus for $1995.00. He met with me to pick up the car and I explained that once in a while the driver's window ( manual ) would stick but it worked fine. He tried it, liked it and drove it to New Jersey. He left me a message saying how much he liked the car and how good it ran. Later he said he wanted $258.00 so his mechanic could put in a new window regulator.( The one I told him about.) I said I would be happy to buy one, ( they are on ebay for $50-$75.00 ) and I would pay his mechanic to install it. He refused and left negative feedback. No mention of the window, brakes sound more serious. I won't say what he was trying to do, but I'm sure you can figure it out.( I have the taped message if anyone would like to hear it ) it's perfectly legal. I work hard to sell only cars that my family members would use. In fact my wife and I drive every car we buy. This car has had very good maintenance over the years. We use it ourselves and everything works great. It's also very comfortable. We meet buyers at two airports in our area, Logan in Boston and Greene in Rhode Island. You can fly here and drive it home. It's ready to go. Please call me ( Dickie ) if you would like more information or to make arrangements. My number is; 508 994-9206. Take care, Dickie.

Ford recalls Five Hundred, Mercury Montego sedans over fuel tank woes
Mon, 18 Jul 2011Ford has announced through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration that it is recalling nearly 3,000 examples of its Five Hundred and Mercury Montego (pictured) sedans from the 2007 model year.
The action, which affects 2,945 vehicles, is due to potentially defective welds between the filler neck and the fuel tank, a condition that could result in a fuel leak or the smell of gasoline reaching the occupants. In the worst-case scenario, a leak could cause a fire. Cars with the affected fuel tank problem could see an illuminated dashboard warning light as a result of the evaporative emissions leak being detected.
Ford will inspect and replace the fuel tank at no cost to owners (those who have already had the procedure done at-cost can apply for reimbursement), and the Dearborn automaker will begin notifying Five Hundred and Montego owners beginning August 15. Check out the official NHTSA press release after the jump for further details.
This Mercury Cyclone is an American Muscle Car in Norway
Tue, Oct 27 2015The picturesque Norwegian countryside certainly doesn't seem like the natural stomping grounds for a 1969 Mercury Cyclone, but owner Alexander Brevik makes the odd combo look like an ideal match. Even with the beautiful surroundings, Brevik sees no need to enjoy the scenery; he'd much rather just be driving this vintage muscle car. Take a ride with him in the latest clip from Petrolicious. Like many of us, Brevik's automotive obsession started at childhood, and today he has amassed a multitude of projects to wrench on. While he loves working on all of these cars, we all need a break sometimes, and that's what the Cyclone is for. Even when the rest of his collection isn't running, this orange beauty is always ready to go. Brevik may not pay much attention to the landscape, but Petrolicious makes the muscle car look fantastic in the Norwegian woods nonetheless. With its rumbling V8 engine and three-speed manual, this Cyclone turns out to be a perfect cruising companion in the Land of the Midnight Sun. And if you just can't get enough of classic muscle cars and the people who love them, check out our video coverage of the 2015 Woodward Dream Cruise in Detroit down below. Related Video:
Ford Recalling 70k Escape and Mariner Hybrids for cooling issue
Fri, 12 Sep 2014Ford is recalling about 70,209 examples of the 2005-2008 Ford Escape Hybrid and the 2006-2008 Mercury Mariner Hybrid because the cooling pumps for their hybrid systems could fail.
According to the company's defect notice, it's possible for the original "Motor Electronics Coolant (MEC) Pump" to wear out and fail, which would could cause the hybrid system to overheat. If this happens, the vehicle goes into a safety mode that takes away most or all of its power. However, braking and steering still operate normally. After cooling down, the affected models restart normally. The company says that it's not aware of any accidents or injuries related to this problem.
Ford will begin repairing the vehicles in late October, and dealers will be installing improved, brushless pumps on the affected models at no charge to owners. If drivers had their pumps fail before this recall, they can contact Ford for a possible reimbursement.
